Hacking Crediar to release newer version of QuadForce...

Some loaders allow you to use a different name without editing the ISO.
either an .ini file to edit, or use a different path name.

For example : SD;/games/F-Zero AX [GFZJ8P]/game.iso
USBLoaderGX will then use the Title and GameID found in that folder name, not the one inside the ISO.
(if you already used the old path name, clear the Cache in the loader to force the folder's name as Game Title)

Thank you Cyan, I use Wiitdb with USB Loader GX so I don't have that problem, only with DML Booter, but since I rarely use it anyway it's no problem, btw I've noticed earlier today that USB Loader GX now can load a two discs game from disc 2, very nice and handy feature thanks for the great work man

wasn't it required to set something in the options of USB Loader GX when the Folder is named like "F-Zero AX [GFZJ8P]"?
well, it works for me. but if i remember correctly, there was something about that in the options(?)

the existing setting is the one used when you dump your games.
You tell which folder the ISO will be stored to (wbfs/ or wbfs/game name [ID]/ or wbfs/ID_game name/)


Edit:
in order to use the folder's name as Game's Title, you need to set "Force title from disc" to OFF, or else it will open the ISO and take the name from there.

I think its L/R because of triggers that you can speed up accordingly to the force you put on the button. (something like that.)

@RowanDDR what's weird about using R to accelerate? O.o most car games use the R/L to accelerate and break anyway, it feels more comfortable if you ask me!

Speaking of Virtua Striker, does anyone have a save file of Virtua Striker 3 that unlocks Team FC Sonic? I struggled last time to unlock the team but then lost the save file "Thanks to Donkey Konga 3 " I hope someone can help me with this because I really hate to have to do it all over again :'(

Back to QuadForce, I dunno if this is the correct place to ask but in USB Loader GX there's an option for "Devo F-Zero AX" what does this do? I thought Devo doesn't run TriForce O.o

it's a patch for devolution to unlock AX in the GameCube game F-Zero GX.
As Devolution doesn't allow user's patch/code/ocarina/whatever, Tueidj added internal patches you can enable/disable for that game.

yep i am...for the mario kart gp games sometimes the music sounds scratchy sometimes it doesn't....f-zero on the other hand...well i can't even get that to work

Well... i'm fine calabrating the controls for F-Zero, but when it doesn't do anything after i press start.

Anyway... for me, i get scratchy sound all the time with Mario Kart Arcade GP2 and i think F-Zero AX as well.

i'm not talking about the actual NAND, as the sound is perfectly fine.

I'd personally recommend doing the following:

• create a new emuNAND using ModMii (or extract your own from a backup)
• extract quadforce.bin & kenobigc.bin (for cheat codes) from quadforce_3.0-cred.rar to the sneek folder on the root of your device
• make a copy of quadforce.bin and rename it 00000008.app
• move 00000008.app to /title/00000001/00000100/content/
• Install the DIOS MIOS (Lite) Booter SVN r30 Channel (link in signature) to your emuNAND using ShowMiiWads

Make sure that you have MIOS v10 & BC v6 installed on your emuNAND before doing this, otherwise it won't work properly.

We must wait for crediar to release a new version of quadforce, also truly impressive getting the export version to work as well, I heard there was some extra security on the board.

Also, if these games do have a service mode, I'm guessing the only way to access it is through ocarina codes?
