Hacking compatibility question

hey guys,
i have a questoin concerning the compatibilty with games and modchips. I've heard some people not being able to run origies after their chips installed (dont see the problem though...) and i've heard some games just dont work (COD,RRR, ect on PAL)... are there any sources where i can look up this other than the regionfree compatibility table? or maybe someone could add it to the wiki (i dont know hot to make tables)... it's just a thought....
