Homebrew Question Clear the Switch of any cfw things ?

Most cfw auto boots. You hold vol - to get to the boot menu. From there you can select options.

Hello, when it comes to step number 9, on my mounted drive there isn't anyhting that says USER, it just shows "Contents", "save", and "saveMeta". If you could respond ASAP, that would be greatly appreciated.

Hey! So, while I was following this tutorial, because i use a really old laptop for hacking as to not use up my main laptop, I somehow accidentally selected [8]000000000000[120] and deleted it along with everything else, and because the file was too big, it just deleted itself instead of moving it to the recycling bin, so the file was long gone. My switch now won't turn on, period. The Nintendo logo pops up and it does charge but it wont turn on apart from that, is there a way to fix this? I'm already looking for new switch's on ebay because I don't know if this can be fixed, can it? I don't wanna waste £170 and then find out I could of reversed it or something on those lines.

I also did the same, I'm going to try to send it to get repaired by Nintendo for $99, I'm not sure if they can find out if it has been tampered with, but on Nintendo's repair website, they said that if they couldn't fix it they would give you a new one.

Sorry, i've tried to send it in for repair, but because I was banned on Splatoon 2 for hacks, they refused to repair it, if your switch isn't banned then you might still be able to send it in, but if its not, don't expect them to fix it.

@Serfrost hello! If one has the NAND backup, to "unhack" the NX is just a matter of booting into Hekate and restoring the NAND?
Or something else is needed, like deleting logs or whatever?

Here's my little text guide for manually initializing the system like what you just mentioned:

11. Move your SD files back to root. Rename Nintendo folder temporarily, or you will be asked to format SD when using the Switch.

12. Hold Vol- while you boot your normal payload with TegraRcmSmash. Boot Stock Firmware. System Initialize / Reformat your Switch (Settings > Bottom) just to make sure you're fine.

13. Resend memloader.bin, select ums_sd.ini, delete the new Nintendo folder, rename yours back to Nintendo.

14. Boot Stock Firmware again [ Booting CFW might leave logs, only boot stock! Make a NAND Backup if you want to avoid this in the future. ]

15. Install your stuff again if its legitimate, otherwise do what you want before you pollute your NAND with detectable CFW junk.

Followed this to the T however when renaming my Nintendo Folder back, the system wants to format the sd card every time Any ideas how to fix this?
