Lol'ed I got a DEADCAFE after 3 attempts with my n3DS now, Can't believe ftbrony is saving us all, but I do wonder why it seems to work with it and it seems to fail a whole lot more without forcing a close on it first.

Edit: Also, I have no idea how devs will override ftrbrony force-close method in order to make it work... well it's not like it's a MUST but ... uhh ... hopefully they will make things work :/

I can get DEADCAFE, but it doesn't say "Press Start to exit", is that good or bad?
O3DS 10.3

The thing is if you try to run it you will eventually fall in a dead end, because I didn't call the install function in the menu. Even if it is present, it is never called. Reminds me of some svcBackdoors...
I was just looking at the repo and was going to bring this up! Of course, some of us are dastardly villains who can work with C. I'm not a dastardly villain, unfortunately, so you'll have to wait for your fresh bricks.

Don't do that, I mean, if you just call it, you won't enjoy bricking with A THREAD, and DYNAMIC LOGGING.

I tried KernelTimeMachine just for fun, not only does it not do anything, but half of the text is blurred out unless I am talking a screenshot.

I wouldn't mess with "kernel" homebrew if I was you, it's not like they work as of right now, but soon they might do... and screw your console up, worst case scenario and I bet you know this, you'll have a nice colorful, high-tech brick to stare at in anguish.

Edit: But ... It's not like there's some people stupid enough to blindly trust ANYONE and grab a 3dsx, run it and ruin their consoles, right?...RIGHT??

O3DS 9.9, running via IronHax.
Using Masher's launcher.

I only get to the "Map Complete." stage. Is this supposed to take very long, or am I freezing? (It's been on for 5 mins now)

@JustPingo I wanted to fork your repo to make some stuff, however zlib is missing. Where should I get that from? I looked at the github repo but last commit was 3yrs ago

I changed the zip library because it sucked anyway, I now use the same thing as lpp-3ds.
Try with latest commit.

I already have the neccessary implementation, don't tempt me...
void startDowngrade()
{

printf("Reticulating splines...\n");
printf("Chunking memes...\n");
printf("INSTALLING KICKASS PLEASE WAIT...\n");
for(int i = 0; i < 3735931646; i++) {

prinftf("cia %d of %08X installed...\n", i, 0xDEADCAFE);
}
printf("Time travel success! Welcome to turniphax!\n");
}

@JustPingo Here's a little something I whipped up. All the best with the upcoming release ;)
