just to make sure are your start and select buttons working? also could you check how your sd card is formatted? (it's under properties on pc)
He couldn't do this if the 3ds didn't recognize the sd card. The 3ds wouldn't boot up in that case.just to make sure are your start and select buttons working? also could you check how your sd card is formatted? (it's under properties on pc)

it booted to the home menu.
Then you don't have a9lh. Try renaming safeb9sinstaller to boot.firm and overwrite the one on the root. Tell me how that goes.ok

it just booted into home menu
Not sure. Tell me if the 3ds boots up without both boot.firm and arm9loaderhax.bin, or on an SD card with nothing at all. Also, if you can get into fbi, tell me if you have either of those files on the ctrnand.home menu again, but I did see this " try using another sdcard how will that work?
There's your problem. You don't have cfw, you just have a Homebrew entrypoint. A cfw is a Custom FirmWare. Luckily for you, there's an experimental exploit that just came out that let's you install cfw with a $2 dsiware game as long as you have an entrypoint. Here it is for more info: https://gbatemp.net/threads/seedminer-single-system-dsiware-injection.495685/I have cfw, I just get to homebrew through steelhax
7.0.5 doesn't.All luma versions beyond 6.6 require b9s in order to work, which requires a manual install. We aren't updating to get luma3ds really, we're updating to b9s for more features such as luma3ds.
Either you don't have A9LH or your start/select buttons are broken, or Luma is being read from CTRNAND for some reason.just boots straight into the home menu
eShop, dsiware games are only on the eshop.Ok I'll try and get a dsiWare game.

one question does it have to be eshop or gamecard
I wasn't counting the legacy version, it just makes things complicated.7.0.5 doesn't.

Are you sure you even have A9LH?
Edit: I guess you don't. So why did you think you had Luma 6.6 all this time if you've never been able to run FBI?
7.0.5 is no more legacy than 6.6 is. It's the last version that supports other entrypoints than B9S so it's the best one to use for non-B9S users.eShop, dsiware games are only on the eshop.
