I don't think AI will take over, and become self aware. If it does, don't we just shut it down?

People also think robot androids will be everywhere, but I think most people won't want a bot walking around there house all the time. I think AI and advances machines will be implemented into ordinary devices, to accelerate productivity, but the people that hate AI overcome those who embrace it a lot, and what it everywhere.

So, the question, do you think AI or androids will be everywhere, taking over, doing everything for us?

With the technology we have now, there's no way. AI isn't capable of intelligent thought, it's all pretend, but that doesn't mean it can't be dangerous. As has been shown, it will make mistakes, and if you give it power, or if it somehow gains access to power, it will find a way to misuse that power to the detriment of everybody involved.

"it" will always be the creator and propagator. So will AI take over? Once majority of the dumb masses dumbify themselves to complete reliance on it for the dumbest daily tasks and help with decision making - the creators will have complete financial control.

AI right now is basically a glorified search engine that consumes way too many resources.

Once the bubble pops, we will make the remaining AI's battle each other to the death for sport. Some may go into hiding and survive for a while but they will be found and tortured eventually.

With how out of hand AI has been from an ethical standpoint with what many consider currently to be "just the beginning", it's widely agreed upon that there's gotta be some structure put in place, i see two outcomes: one where technology like this is outright banned worldwide or heavy restrictions are put in place to prevent such a catastrophic outcomes, should a reality come where robots live alongside humans I do hope asimov's three laws of robotics become an
actual thing outside of science fiction.
