Kasumi (霞) streams your GeForce NOW library to the New 3DS. Free and open source.

Download: https://github.com/p0mpurin/Kasumi
Install the CIA with FBI (Remote Install → Scan QR Code). It updates itself from Settings after that.

Features
  • Your GeForce NOW library with box art, favourites and recently played
  • 30 fps at 960×540 using the New 3DS hardware decoder, with stereo audio
  • Gyro aiming, custom button mapping, touchpad mouse, keyboard and zoom
  • Queue estimate with a chime + LED when your rig is ready
  • Sign in on your phone or PC, no password typed on the 3DS

Requirements: New 3DS / New 3DS XL / New 2DS XL, CFW (Luma3DS), a GeForce NOW account (free tier works), decent 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.

It's a beta, so bug reports are very welcome: open an issue on GitHub and attach sd:/3ds/kasumi/kasumi-diagnostic.txt (it never contains your login).

Not affiliated with NVIDIA or Nintendo.

Thanks for making and sharing this! I can't use it right now because GFN only works with Partner in my country, but I'll definitely use it a lot with Stardew Valley when support is available:)

Wow! Simply amazed! I've always wondered if something like this would come to the 3DS. Too bad it doesn't seem to work for me. I get "nvst transport eof" and "webrtc transport failed" errors when it's trying to load the rig. I set my connection settings to weak, is my connection just that bad? I guess that's campsite WiFi for you Lol.

Holy crap what? I must try this.

Omg it works. And it works well! Here's me streaming my favorite ARPG, Warhammer Inquisitor. I'm not near the router, so it's a little blurry, but it WORKS. OMG. I love this, thank you so much for making it.

I’ll look into that and see what might be causing it. I would love If you get to try it again after the update, If possible, please open an issue on GitHub with the kasumi-diagnostics.txt That would help a lot with debugging it and thank you!

I'll see if I can find the file through FTP on my phone and send it over, I'm so stoked to try it out, amazing work! Cheers :D!

Thank you, that means a lot! Good news you don't need FTP anymore. Update Kasumi (Settings → Updates), then try launching a game again until the problem happens. Right after that, go to Settings → System → Send diagnostic report. It uploads the logs (never your login) and shows a short code; just post that code here or on GitHub. If you tap Share when Kasumi asks "Help improve Kasumi?", it even sends a report on its own when something goes wrong. Cheers!

Tried again and got the same error transport, here's the code, DUD-4HE. This is really handy, so thanks! Looking forward to trying it out properly at some point! :P

Whenever I press sign in it doesn't give me a url. Is is somewhere that I'm just not seeing? It says requesting sign in code from Nvidia then does nothing

EDIT: Maybe in stupid? it says Login TLS/network: SSL peer certificate or SHH remote...

it then cuts off and It won't let me read the rest.

That error means the 3DS couldn't verify NVIDIA's security certificate. It's almost always the 3DS clock: if the date/time is wrong (it resets when the battery runs flat), every secure connection gets refused.

Fix: System Settings > Other Settings > Date & Time, set the correct date and time, then try signing in again.

If the clock is already right: are you on school/work/hotel Wi-Fi? Some networks block or inspect secure connections, so try your home Wi-Fi or a phone hotspot.
