Gaming Can someone guide me to pc gaming(new pc gamer)

Hi. I got this new laptop as i was talking earlier about it.
I'd really like to try some pc games but im not sure what to play. I am a nintendo gamer and i dont know and understand pc gaming that much. Had a pc before but only used it for emulating nintendo stuff.

The laptop i have is a decent one
Specs: 16GB RAM DDR4 2133MHz (2x8GB kingston chips)
2.6-3.5 GHz i7 6700hq
1tb hdd 7200rpm toshiba
19v 9.6A battery -50-60Hz
1920x1080 hdr display 60hz refresh rate
Umm some other specs i dont remember right now.
What are some cool games i can play on my laptop. Any suggestions is appreciated

also, tf2 is quite fun and get garrys mod while your at it!

MINECRAFT- it different from what it is on consoles so dont think you know it if you owned it only on wiiu
Dwarf fortress - one of if not the most difficult game to learn ever. And it is rewarding...
Gta- I love san andreas and V, both are great
Overwatch is a very popular fps game on pc
