Flipnote Studio is the only DSiWare I have. Can I do anythign with it, as of right now? Or is it only used for downgrading in preparation for HiyaCFW/RocketLauncher?

You can use it to at least dump your DSi nand and downgrade it as well as install Soduku+Sodukuhax on it. Unless ofc, you want to press copy 122 times every time you want to enter FWTool.
A cool homebrew (if it's considered a homebrew) I use atm is SRLoader, there's more tho, but I installed Sodokuhax for the sole purpose of having SRLoader for the moment.
This guide I wrote has instructions for installing another dsiwarehax, like Sudoku, even if you don't have it installed yet.
