Hacking Bricked console ? Here's my sad story !

Hi,

For various reasons, I've decided to upgrade my switch manually with the 12.0.1 (since I forbid her to access the internet...).
It is not the first time, but this time at the end of the update process in ChoixDuJour, something went wrong
To be honest I suspect myself to mistakenly choose exFat where I should have chosen just FAT (aka FAT32).

Anyway, I was confused and the reboot process hangs ! After this I encounter lot of troubles, playing with three
SD card in order to get back a stable and hacked console... I got plenty of strange error messages.

At some point, I was able to upload firmware 11.0.1 with FAT support using daybreak, I though I was safe...

- Now, when I remove the SD, the switch won't boot at all (I've one real game in the SLOT)

Erreur 2002-2634

- Booting with an SD formatted in FAT32 doesn't work :

SD is exFAT and installed HOS driver only support FAT32

Neither booting with SD with exFAT :

Failed to mount SD
Missing LP0 (sleep mod) lib!
Missing or old minerva lib!
...

I use Hekate 5.5.5

Well, I've tried a lot, the console is still "open" with the RCM jig but I've no more idea on what should I do
I'm a bit desperate... Should I factory reset completely the console ?

Might be the microSD reader connection on the board.

Mine on my V1 Switch is failing slowly too.

You should consider ruling out such defect too.
Maybe bring it to repair shop and ask them to 'check' the solder joints (and if need be replace/reflow em).

This guy is really good at this.


Otherwise it is down to software and whether or not you have a NAND Backup
-> Also make sure, you have -non corrupted- files on your microSD.
Maybe retry downloading atmosphere ?

First of all don't use Choi to upgrade. Use Daybreak instead.
Second can you start the Switch without a gamecard inserted? Try both OFW and CFW.

So following suggestion above, I've tried the various combinations :

No SD with ACNH cartridge in the game slot => 2002-2634 (==> crazy ?)
No SD without cartridge ==> Boot ok (OFW) (==> although useless)
No SD without cartridge ==> Failed to mount SD (CFW) (==> Logical I guess)

SD 1G in FAT32 without cartridge : with only the minimum ==> black screen
SD 400G in FAT32 without cartridge : with tons of backups ==> Failed to mount SD! Missing LP0 ... Missing pmd minerva lib ...
SD 500G in ExFAT without cartridge : Hos error, only support FAT32

Am I doomed ? Should I return to exfat ? To 12.0.1 ? Maybe I can configure it to access the internet
and hopping to grab the update the right way but then how to play my backups ???

In case, I have the NAND Backup

But still now what should be my next move ? Having a fresh SD formatted how ?
Just in case : nobody is reading this somewhere close to or in Brussels ? Who knows...

So just curious was this your SYSNAND or your emmunand ?

It sounds like this is your emunand. You need to delete the emunand and re-create it.

Well if you have the files, all you need to do is put them into Hekate to restore them.
