I have seen posts on the internet that Black Sigil: Blade of the Exiled (US) is coming out today, does anyone know if this is true?

There's no official release date besides a "3rd quater of 2008". The date of the 17th june comes from online shop like amazon & co. Right now, most of the shop (inc. amazon & play-asia) have been updated with the date of the 15th september.

Since all of this isn't official at all, one can't find anything else except that nobody found it on store shelves today.

The only true release date we have is on Graffiti's webpage as TBA 2008. All of the other release dates on online stores and IGN(orance) are them pulling lies out of their ass.

Gamespot states that it's already been released. I'm guessing that it's yet to be dumped?

well, the general rules in forums is to never bring a thread back from the dead, if its dead, let it stay dead, especially if the thread has been idle for around a month since the last post to 6months(depending on the forum itself)
