Gaming Bird Mania

Has anybody tried Bird Mania from the eShop yet?

I just bought it. Fun little game, doesn't break the bank at £1.80. I couldn't bring myself to stop playing it until I'd at least beaten the built in high score of 500. Took me a few goes, too!

Wonder how often I'll come back to it...

got to 900... still havn't got the hold of using the [L] / [R] buttons...sometimes it works and sometimes i die...
have you figured it out?

You can go through enemies by holding down (not just pressing) the L/R buttons, but you can't go through trees. I tend to kill a bad guy then smash straight into a tree!

I got to 700 and something but got a bit of motion sickness; probably not the best game to play with a hangover! I'll give it another shot later!

I think the soundtrack alone is worth the £1.80

Edit: sorry just beat your score; 1143!

Another edit: OK I had to have another quick go out of curiosity. I think with the L/R thing you need to hold it down until you're actually through the bird as opposed to just when you first hit him.

honestly this game is fun, the highest score i have got is 1916 .

and the best way to get higher scores, dont bother with any of the buttons to control the bird, use the touch screen! it is by far the fastest.

I use only the touch panel...any other button will result a premature death...
Once it gets fast even the circle pad can't save you from those trees...

I've still only made it up to 1272! What's the significance of baloons? Do they give you points, or do they just make up part of some achievements?

They're worth intervals of like 3 points, 4 points and 5 points I believe. I think it says that in like some menu of the game... though I forget where.
