Gaming Best way to recover save file onto 3DS cart?

Hi there,

Apologies if this is in the incorrect category, but basically a while before Sun/Moon came out I wanted to replay X. So I used BrowserHax (was on an old firmware) and used a utility to backup the save file from the game (the save file has all the Pokémon I ever had since around Sinnoh time, so a lot of Pokémon.). Fast forward quite a lot of time, and I updated my 3DS without realising to play Sun. Now I have a save file for X and the X cartridge - but what would be the best & cheapest way to put this save file back onto the cart? It doesn't have to be a way involving homebrew - if there is any product that allows me to put the save file onto the cartridge using my PC, I'd happily do it!

Any ideas?

However you going to need an exploit game. Pickup freakforms deluxe or something.

First, thanks for your reply! That may have been what I used originally, actually. Do you know of any exploit game or a tool that'll be cheaper than Freakyforms? Freakyforms is still around £30 for a used one :/
