I have played Pokemon HG on a flash card for a long time, acquiring just about everything in-game.
Now it's time to transfer Pokemon (first, by relocator) over to Pokemon White.
With that goal in mind, I bought a bootleg HG card, as I want to do the transfer the "official" way, by having my Pokemon White game (on TWL Menu) recognize the Pokemon HG game/save file(?)

My idea is to transfer the save file to the fake card using Checkpoint.
Checkpoint, however, names an invalid ID for the game on the cartridge, namely 00000000 ():

Can I still somehow make this process work, meaning having the "legit" save file restored to the fake cartridge and having Pokemon White being able to communicate with it?

EDIT: For now I managed to save the correct save file to the correct folder, using an online video. However, during the restoration of the save ("Restore selected save") the 3DS freezes, and can only be turned off by a shutdown. Using Rosalina to force a shutdown results in a crash/dump.

Update: whereas it doesn't work on HG, on my fake copy of Platinum, I DID manage to restore my save game from my flashcard.
I guess this has to do with the lack of IR sensor in a bootleg HGSS, right?

This is also happening with my legit copies of my PKMN White and White 2 versions. Very awkward. It's almost like checkpoint won't save or restore Cartridge copies of DS games. All of my 3DS games register fine, though.
