Hey guys, so... I though a lot about the PSP, because some say it is the best for SNES emulation.

I looked a lot, and I can't find one in a good condition for a good price.

So I though about this:

or this:
http://www.jxdofficial.com/jxd-s7300c-7-inch-quad-core-game-console.html

It says that I can play also N64, PS1, DS and PSP games. Anyone have comments on them?

I also though because would be better for music and videos, not talking about the possibility to play clash of clans on it too.

Waiting to see what you guys can say about that ^-^

I would suggest a Shield Portable or Shield Tablet. The Tablet is more powerful, but the Portable is obviously a handheld. Both can play classics games fine, except the Tablet can run some Gamecube games at playable speeds.

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.

I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
