Can anyone tell me what sort of advantage that I would have over using CFW Booter + Haxchi? Unless the info I've been reading is outdated, looks like I'd be downgrading because vWii is would not be accessible.
Mocha's required (I think) for SaveMii, while RedNAND isn't 100% useful to the end user.
Your Setup is perfectly fine.
The only feature mocha has is using a fat Partition on USB your that you can use for something else as well.
But the game loading times are TERRIBLE!
Somehow worse. How slow are we taking about here? Better or worst than with Loadiine?
Someone already pointed that out and I've asked a question about it in my 2nd post, no answers so far. Care to answer?Mocha CFW uses different MCP Hooks that's why homebrew like SaveMii works with it.
You'll have to describe to me what those things do and how they differ from each other.Mocha CFW also has built-in IOSU shit unlike Haxchi and CBHC where it only has IOSU nodes.
Haxchi + CFW booter is useless since Haxchi has it's own built CFW.SaveMii partially works without Mocha. Does Mocha give SaveMii a better game compatibility?
See my list here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/savemii-compatibility-list.472343/

Mocha CFW uses full IOSU access afaik while Haxchi and CBHC only use certain nodes of it ex. IOSU speed boost. It speed up SCDCard R/W speeds Haxchi & CBHC have different MCP hooks so they're undetected in homebrew itself unless x homebrew was coded for both CFW's.
That's all i know.
Ya, this is what that sounded like to me:
Maybe I should rephrase my question, how does Mocha run games better than Haxchi and what features does it have than Haxchi doesn't?
Mocha and haxchi both basically do the same thing just in a different way. Games on both run exactly the same from a wiiu formated hdd but the unofficial mod of mocha that let's you use a fat 32 formated hdd is not as good and for some games it's slightly slower than loadiine. For homebrew there are a couple of homebrew programmes that only work in mocha and not haxchi.
No idea as I have zero interest in fat 32 mocha you would be better looking for info in the official mocha thread.Interesting. Can the FAT32 partition coexist with other partitions on the same Ext HDD? If so does it need to be the first partition like with Nintendont for GameCube games or can you specify other partitions on the disc? Finally, are game saves still tied to the local Wii U user or can they be transferred to a new user by hooking the drive to a PC and copying the data file?

Well it would be the best option if people weren't so retarded to use a non legit DS game to install CBHC on.CBHC is all one should really need I would think. Turn on your Wii U and boot directly into CFW, doesn't get much better than that.
