I think it is that. Same happened to me, had to use Atmos.
Got it. Thanks.

Your GF is trying to tell you that you are having a boy.
Please give us the option to install nsp without the need of having the title id on the name with nut. That's the only thing that doesn't let me exclusively use Tinfoil/Sx installer for all my installing needs. Most nsp I find do not have the title id on them.

Awoo Installer 1.3.1

What's new?

- Files received for installation remotely are now sorted alphabetically
- Fixed a bug that caused installations to fail when sending a large amount of files over USB
- Installations now use a lot more RAM in title override mode, slightly speeding up remote NSZ installations
- Behind-the-scenes Plutonium changes and optimizations (Thanks @HookedBehemoth!)
- Some translation string fixes and changes
- Other small changes and bug fixes

This release and all future releases can be downloaded within Awoo Installer directly by simply starting the software while connected to the internet!

What about total install size before install pack of NSZ?
I'd also really like this feature in the event of an SD low on space.
This wouldn't be hard to do, just a matter of reading the cnmt(s) of all selected files and comparing the total content size to available space on the destination device. However, this would likely introduce a fair bit of wait time for large lists of files. It's on my planned features list, but it will definitely be optional (disabled by default in settings).

Can I just ask, does this work on SXOS?
We don't support SX OS or have any means of testing it, so your guess is as good as mine.

I don't know what that is supposed to mean, my 2.5" HDD is not recognized by by the latest version of SXOS and installer.

Mai du,

maybe you can be the tester for SXOS?
I mean, you'd be able to use your HDD faster than waiting for someone else to take the reigns.

After installing XCI and some nsp/nsz they are failed to verify data from system settings (corrupted data). Other installers does not have this problem: installed XCI are successfully checked via system settings.

I spotted some weirdness when attempting to install the latest update to Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. (v262144)

When I run it through NX Game Info, it tells me the nsp has a valid NCA signature. ("Signature: Passed, Permission: Safe"). However when I try to install with Awoo it warns of an invalid NCA.

Is there a way for me to independently confirm that this is either a false positive from Awoo or a bug in NX Game Info? Some other tool I could use to check?

Awoo checks if nca signed with one predefined hardcoded signature, and not the signature provided in the nca.

I can not understand why. If there were only one correct signature from Nintendo, then there won't be this signature in each nca.

Because its asynchronous crypto, we know nintendo's public key, so we can verify the code came directly from Nintendo unmodified. Its not a hash, its a signature.

I understand this, but why this public key exists in each nca (not in hardware or firmware) and why do you think that is it a constant and can not be changed?

The public key does not exist in the NCA, it exists in the firmware. The public key is the same for every switch.

You might be confusing the two checks. The NCA is signed twice: once by nintendo, once by the developer. The developer's public key is in the NCA, but this isnt verified because it doesnt need to be.

@Sicklyboy I am wanting to fully change the game and bend it to my will lol. I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I really would like to make a hack that I would enjoy playing, and maybe other people would too. swapping to the EU version would also mean my US friends could not legally play it
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
    I appreciate the insight!

@TwoSpikedHands just switch, all the knowledge you learned still applies and most of the code and assets should be the same anyway
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    and realistically they wouldn't

be able to play it legally anyway since they need a ROM and they probably don't have the means to dump it themselves

why the shit does the shitbox randomly insert newlines in my messages
  • Veho @ Veho:
It does that when I edit a post.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It inserts a newline in a random spot.

do y'all think having an sd card that has a write speed of 700kb/s is a bad idea?
trying to restore emunand rn but it's taking ages... (also when I finished the first time hekate decided to delete all my fucking files )
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@Karma177 that sd card is 100% faulty so yes, its a bad idea
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
even the slowest non-sdhc sd cards are a few MB/s
  • Karma177 @ Karma177:
@The Real Jdbye it hasn't given me any error trying to write things on it so I don't really think it's faulty (pasted 40/50gb+ folders and no write errors)
