I will not be responding to many questions as my account here on GBATemp is rate limited. If you have a problem with the software, feel free to hit me up on my IRC, or submit an issue on the GitHub.

Features
- Installs NSP/NSZ/XCI/XCZ files and split NSP/XCI files from your SD card
- Installs NSP/NSZ/XCI/XCZ files over LAN or USB from tools such as ns-usbloader
- Installs NSP/NSZ/XCI/XCZ files over the internet by URL or Google Drive
- Verifies NCAs by header signature before they're installed
- Installs and manages the latest signature patches quickly and easily
- Based on Adubbz Tinfoil
- Uses XorTroll's Plutonium for a pretty graphical interface
- Just werks

Why?
Because Goldleaf tends to not "Just werk" when installing NSP files. I wanted a free software solution that installs, looks pretty, and doesn't make me rip my hair out whenever I want to put software on my Nintendo Switch. Awoo Installer does exactly that. It installs software. That's about it!

If you want to do other things like manage installed tickets, titles, and user accounts, check out Goldleaf!

Thanks to
- HookedBehemoth for A LOT of contributions
- Adubbz and other contributors for Tinfoil
- XorTroll for Plutonium and Goldleaf
- blawar and nicoboss for NSZ support
- The kind folks at the AtlasNX Discuck (or at least some of them)
- The also kind folks at the RetroNX Discuck (of no direct involvement)
- namako8982 for the Momiji art
- TheXzoron for being a baka

Finally, I was worried what with Tinfoil not supporting firmware 9.X that DZ would be the only option left (sorry but not sorry Goldleaf). Supporting .NSZ files also eliminates the monopoly that blawar had which is even sweeter. Managing sig patches though...even DZ doesn't have that

If this would add stable ext usb installing it would be my dream title installer. The builds from the last few months on the "new" tinfoil as well as sx installer are all broken in regards to ext-usb installs. Apparently there is a issue with the driver. The last build that works stable is sx installer 1.52 and some older "new" tinfoil build I had but is long lost. I can click on usbhdd but nothing will show. Apparently on the latest "new" tinfoil builds you can copy a file and refresh and this will force it to show files(super hacky).

When the MTP protocol came out I was so excited because I thought "great I'll never have to remove my SD again!" ....literally have had to remove my SD card every single time I've ever wanted to do something for the last few months. MTP is broken, simply doesn't work for any of my usb chipsets and with all of the ext-usb support broken on these builds its been frustrating.

Thanks for an alternative. Completely agree with Draxzelex above, always makes me happy to see competition in this space. Even though you guys are using a lot of the same source, by tailoring your focus you'll end up creating specific-use purpose software that works better.

USBHDD was fixed in the last Tinfoil / SX Installer releases.

Running Atmosphere, Kosmos package to be exact :P
*SX OS buyers are not supported.

Delete license.dat from your sd card.

I expected this statement sooner. I'd gladly accept a USB installation implementation that went with the goal this project aims for; "just werking". As of right now, USB interfacing of almost any kind requires odd driver installations, weird compatibility between different OS environments, and just an all together inferior and frustrating experience. Why not give wireless installs a try? I can tell you very safely that you won't be banging your head against a wall using it.

There are licensing issues here that need to be fixed. All of the Tinfoil, NSZ, and plutonium code is MIT. I dont see a reasonable path to releasing this as GPL 3

Actually, the MIT licensing has been acknowledged. If you were to check the source code, copyright statements and license-related information are included with each part of Tinfoil used. Otherwise, the parts of the software independent from Tinfoil are licensed under GPLv3.
