Homebrew Anybody got NiFi to work in NesDS?

So, I recently got a second AceKard2ki so that I could have one for both my and my wife's DS Lites. I loaded the same version of NesDS (the latest - 1.0b), and the same NES Roms, onto both, and then fired up NesDS on the two DS Lites. I opened Super Mario Bros 3 in both. In one, I went to Menu>Game>Nifi, and selected the "As a host" option. In the other, I selected the "As a guest" option. From there, I expected the two DSes to find each other and sync the game up for 2-player. Instead, they just hung forever, each one saying it was looking for the other player.

Am I missing something here? Has anyone else gotten this feature to work, and if so, how did you do it? I can't find any documentation on it.

Use the older 0.56a version. It seems nifi doesnt work on the more recent nesDS releases.

edit: nifi fixed in latest release 1.0
