If homebrew channel disappeared and you don't have a forwarder channel or bootmii @ boot2 you will need one of the original games listed on stickied topics.

question

if I decide to erase the homebrew channel, and then I also decide to update my Wii, is there any risk that they'll brick my Wii or what

because I installed it, but I don't think it's something that I'm going to want to keep

You're not gonna brick your wii by updating to 4.3

correction, ur not going to brick by updating to 4.3, unless your Wii was Korean and region changed to something else (of course if u used ModMii to mod your Korean region changed Wii it will also survive the 4.3 update)

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
