Hacking About the Supercard sd/mini-sd

I used to look for information on another site but this forum looks a lot more popular

I finally decided to buy a supercard since it's so cheap and i don't need to play gba games.
But does anyone know if all the supercards i see for sale are all the same?
Are there different versions of it because they all look the same to me. I don't wanna buy one and then find out it's the old model =P

edit: and anyone know where's the cheapest place to get the most current supercard?

edit2: Oops it looks like i posted in the wrong section, this should go in the nds section. Is there anyway to move this, or should i just repost it.

As far as I know there are 3 versions of the Supercard.
One with Compact flash = CF, Secure Digital = SD
& the latest Mini Secure Digital = Mini-SD. No matter
witch one you get you will probably have to update the
firmware. It’s up to 1.62 but my SC came with 1.61.
It’s very easy to update so don’t worry about that just
find the best price from a reputable place.

I got mine at realhotstuff.com they were the best price I
found plus they were in the US, but you may find better
some place else.

Thanks for answering. I know about the 3 supercards sd, mini-sd and cf. So there is only one version of each of those? So all i have to do is update the firmware.

btw, whenever i tried to access realhotstuff.com, the site doesn't load. gamersection.ca looks like a good place though.

there are three kinds of supercard. they are based on which memory card you are using. they have the same functions.But before you buy, you should be care for the fake supercard. details:http://eng.supercard.cn/fake.htm
