A little searching could have found it for you, but here is the answer. Delete the "private" folder from your SD card. You are getting the 004 error because bannerbomb is still in the private folder on your SD card.
No, don't delete the private folder. Delete the aktn folder in private/wii/title. All your savegames and channel will still be there. This error is only on 4.3 wii's. Enable the bannerbomb priiloader hack to fix the problem.

Maybe i spoke too soon....

everything works fine

I can use all the apps and stuff on my sd card using HBC

But when I click on the SD Card icon in the original wii system menu

I get a error#004

I guess i can't start anything from my sd card anymore

It's not a big deal

I had everything transferred from the wii memory to the sd card and would load my wiiware from the sd card

I just reinstalled the wiiware wads to the wii system memory and will uninstall/install as needed

I guess I don't need to do the new 4.3 hack as other things work

Would there be a way (yet) to fix it so I can load stuff from the sd card again on this new 4.3wan?

If not, no biggy

Thanks for all the help

Thanks for the reply

I read so much today I can barley see anymore and must of had an angle watching over me..

If I delete the private folder where will my games be saved to?

Don't the games saves get stored there on the sd card or do they get saved to the wii system memory first

If I leave things like they are, I will still have all my saves, but will not be able to load from the sd card which is no big deal to me

Sorry to be a pain, this should straighten me out once and for all dude

Yeah, you're being a pain, but I'll still tell you. Normally all of your savegames get saved on the wii itself. The only time that savegames are on the SD card is if you copied them over through the data management of the wii System Menu.

But without listing a thousand different scenarios, I will tell you that you are safe to either delete the private folder, or just rename it to something else in case you fear that there might be important data that you could lose.

Thanks again man!

I renamed the private folder

When I click on the sd card icon in the wii system memory nothing showed up

I copied a wiiware game channel back to the sd card and it shows up and i can load it from the sd card

I guess it must over write it and it shows up

I will do that to all my wiiware channels

Seems to work

Thanks for your help and everyone elses help too

Great helpful site

Again, glad to be here

...it was not needed to rename the private folder

It's enough to delete the aktn folder (that's bannerbomb) in private/wii/title

But OK make it like you want to.

4.3 wan system menu is bad, you should overwrite 4.3 wan with original 4.3 SM. Try exiting from the homebrew channel to the system menu. It won't work with 4.3 wan SM.
