Early days of 2014 my ASS! That could be any time. Let's face it. They don't have it done. If they did, they'd have a video. I've supported Gateway but this is ridiculous. I hope these clones, especially that MT-Cart puts you out of business. They've actually SHOWED it working and what do you people have? EMPTY PROMISES!

Oh and I'd change that "we want to make sure to offer a stable and fully tested product" to "we're lazy and we got your money already so fuck off".

You people have given us the same bullshit since October. I'm tired of promoting you and standing up for you. Enough is enough.
You're damned if you do, damned if you don't. Lets look at this from a fair point of view. They probably don't have a stable build to release yet. If you were developing software, and you knew it had problems would you delay it? or would you release something to the public so they can bitch at you constantly for releasing something so unstable? Creating software takes time and effort. These guys aren't the ones cloning the firmwares, they are making them. I understand as a customer you want it released, I was really hoping for the release today myself, but when it comes to releasing a quality product, you have got to be understanding and give them the time they request. At the end of the day it's better than releasing a bugged out horrible update that may very well lose them customers. Give them a few more days, I'm sure we'll be happy with the release.

NO! No excuses. They've been telling people up to a few days ago that it would be released today. If they TRULY had a buggy product, they would NOT give the time they did. But, there were no issues with beta 2. They even said that on their front page. Something more is going on besides "buggy firmware".

I just love how people complain about Gateway not releasing their stuff. Isn't funny how the Clones haven't released anything either. I bet the Clones are also waiting for Gateway to release their stuff also so they can do what is best copy it. I just love people getting upset. Just sit back and Chill. It will be ready when it is ready. If you don't like it update you 3DS to 7.1 and go buy the real game. Otherwise geesh be luckily Gateway is even releasing anything at all. Chill OUT!!

Maybe they sold the firmware to MT-Card and MT had to promise that they won't release anything before GW. This way they can set them under preassure.

They may as well NOT be. Point is that you cannot tell people something and then not deliver and when you're questioned on it, make a whole shitload of excuses. As for me, I'm not doing any more videos or promotions for Gateway. I'm done. I will not recommend a product that cannot meet its deadlines and then lie to people like they do. Fuck them.

Hilarious stuff. Few people complain that it's not getting released today. It's the end of the world.
Chill the f*** out, it's being delayed so that u get the best stable experience ever.
Even the big companies get their shits delayed once in a while.

If you still don't want to support them, then you can get out, they will not miss you.

Keep in mind most of the features of 2.0 have not been released in the betas. Complaining about them not meeting their release date can be understood, but as far as stability things can change really quick with programming software, or problems they didn't know about could have been discovered. If they had a release that they thought was good enough it would be released. They don't have a stable release for it yet, what more can they do? Yes it sucks, but at the end of the day it's the fact we have to deal with. If they didn't think they could make the release date in time, I'm sure they wouldn't have said it, but they are only human and delays happen all the time. Gateway gave us the first 3DS flashcart, they can be trusted. Just give them a little more time.

Pokebank (a paid service) is delayed, everyone justifying GameFreak.
GW 2.0 is delayed, some GBATemp users going apeshit about ETAs given via email.

your comment is pathetic, probably as yourself, don't cry boy, if you're so impatient then don't wait and buy the mt card

Release beta, unstable, people complain.
Don't release, want to get it done and complaints.

I wonder what the reaction would be, if they said, fuck it, released it and the fpga update started bricking cards.

lol, I remember the days when highly anticipated games like Zelda OOT were delayed a whole year and people were more respectful and patient that this. Being asked to wait a few days to 2 weeks is not that big of a crime against the consumer.

This is why nobody likes setting deadlines for software. It always seems to take longer than expected, and people get angry. This happens all the time, even with free software.

Honestly, whoever owns a Gateway at this point in time has nothing to complain about as Gateway has already delivered a product that is worth your money 10 times over. Everything else beyond that point is just extra add-ons. For those who don't own a Gateway, it's still a product that is absolutely worth its weight in software-gold.

If it's the price your concerned about, your welcome to purchase the cheaper R4i Gold Deluxe/3DS Link that releases their "updates" AFTER Team Gateway that isn't guaranteed. You also lose the gateway team's innovation and their support emails which we get so frequently even though they are definetely busy.

You can also choose the wild card known as MT-card that has unlimited potential although you'd become a guinea pig for the 3DS community. Your final choice is to stfu and buy your games legally right?

TL;DR : The Gateway is your safest bet at this point in time so if you don't like it, either purchase your games legally or start your very own chip decapping fundraiser.
