I've beaten MMZ 1 and 2 previously without much difficulty but this game is much harder than the previous ones! I'm still stuck on either of the first four missions you can pick.

Personally I've found that they've made it so easy to die instantly, which is really troublesome.

^ I agree with you, this one is certainly more "twitch gaming" oriented than the others. The gameplay is BASED on your dying and memorizing the levels, with split-second reaction time. However, it's what makes the game attractive to a certain market of players - it's HARD.

I just finished the game and I'd say the first 2 missions are very hard the other 2 are medium and the rest of the game is(with the use of the cyber elves) very easy. I never lost more than 2 lives on a level after the first 4 missions...I was quite dissapointed, because I could finish these missions like a berserk without really trying hard.
Just upgrade Zero with the cyber elves...
