For a possible temporary fix use this boot.firm http://www.hirobyte.com/archivos/legacy/boot.firm but Rosalina won't work while using it. Please let me know if it works or doesn't work.
i used the boot.firm that i you told me to, but still crashes. and a black screen appeared in the top screen saying 'Fatal error" and a lot of numbers and the bottom screen said to turn off the power.

I never had any problems with a9LH, just hacked 2 3ds with B9S and updated my a9LH to B9S and all 3 started crashing. I was playing majoras and closed the lid, opened it and it froze and couldn't be turned off.

I experienced the issue happening with the US copy of Harmo Knight that I was playing region patched on a EUR 3DS. Although strangely it was happening at exactly the same section of the game, I'd already played several levels with no problems. I restarted the system several times, tried disabling Arm 11 exceptions... nothing worked. Until I booted into emunand instead and then the issue didn't happen. So maybe it's to do with the patched sysnand that Luma uses. Using Luma 8.1 and it was also happening with Luma 8.0.

QC will shit all over this but I am crash free on a system That crashed A LOT. He told me to wait for a patch.

Just a few things to make sure your installation is up to date and your SD is healthy. This worked for me and a couple others that I know of
Once again, doing these things will ensure there wasn't an error in your installation. I know you tried a couple things here already. Seems there is still an issue so this is what I would do.

That worked for me! No more errors.

I was having problems with Majora's Mask 3D (USA), Paper Mario (USA) and Ultimate NES Remix (USA). Luma 9.0, EUR console, English system language. I discovered that the European version works, so I downloaded the Luma Locale Switcher (and activated Game Patcher on Luma Menu necessary for Luma Locale works) and tried the USA version again, and problem solved. Probably it's a bug on Luma, and it never changes the region for some games, I dunno.

Luma never auto-changes the region, you always have to specify if it should do such things. While your answer is mostly correct, I doubt OP is still looking for a solution.

I am though. I really like Luma3DS and would like to continue using it, but I can't. I always get these crashes. I had to switch to Rei-Six.

Hopefully this is the right thread to post in. I am having a strange issue with Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. Basically evertime I defeat Ghoma (first boss of the game) the game crashes right afterwards and displays the Luma memory dump screen. I thought this was because I enable some cheats through the Rosalina (like full hearts) but I deactivated and the game still crashes so I can't progress past this point now.
Thanks

This isn't really the right thread for it and you're better off not necro-posting in old threads.

That being said your issue doesn't seem like a Luma one but instead like a corrupted game, try re-dumping it if it's a dump

I can verify that Paper Mario Sticker Star JP crashes on my US N3DS with the latest version of Luma (10.0.1 as of this post) and Luigi's Mansion JP just gives me a black screen. These seem to be problems with the fact they are out of region. I tried using locale emulation in Luma with these but it did not work.
