Crash Dump error (Translation - Section)

I keep getting an error from luma3ds that says:
An exception occured

Processor: Arm11 (core 0)
Exception type: data abort
Fault status: Translation - Section
Current process: (whatever game I am running)

For the record, I am using a Japanese N3DSXL that was region changed to USA. 95% of my 3ds games work fine, but there are a few that give me this error when opening the game. Some games load like normal but the menus have no text and pressing any button causes the error. The roms are legit and working. Is there anything I can do to fix this error and get them working? Thanks in advance!

It might be a locale issue, assuming you have never launched these games (and therefore these games do not have save files)
