Hello, i have tested it here, it was indeed the conflict between the wii u gamepad receiver and the wifi receiver on the console that caused the crashes. Now i am playing normally with my gamecube pad. Thanks for the help!
Happy to hear that......
For this reason now, from my latest 7.10 in this topic (on the first page), you can find two type of WUP installable WiiU packaging.
The one colored, it's just for Wii U "offline", and this package it's self isolate from the boot.dol from vWii. It means, that the installation package, cannot be upgradable to the new futures versions and cannot download the theme or update the controllers compatiblity and so on, for the problem that we talked above. So, this offline package can read the themes, the updated controllers files or the updated titles ID files from the one that you open in vWii and use the online fitures. But it's nothing related to the boot.dol from vWii. It's like that the boot.dol from vWii it's one Nintendont ant the one from this offline package it's anoter Nintendont.
To solve this, you can find my second package that i made in black/white, this package it's just the true forwarder from the Wii U menu to vWii boot.dol (the one into the vWii homebrew), but it will lose the capability to use the Wii U PAD.
So, you can use the vWii version for updates the files, download themes and so on, and the "Offline" version to play with the Wii U PAD.
Don't try to open the Offline version package and choose to don't use the Wii U PAD for controller, because it will not work anyway; and again, for this reason there are two type of Nintendont-CrisMMMod packages for Wii U.
;)

Really thanks for the effort! But since it is "offline", it will interfere with the BBA capabilitys of nintendont? And if i update the "online" version, the "offline" version will be updated too? Very thanks for your help!

Love the update, but I gotta say, I think your version numbering is slightly confusing. Unless I'm mistaken, the 7.10 version is the latest version, and the version before was the 7.5 version. Most people will think that 7.5 is supposed to be the more current version, so it could potentially be confusing, I know I was for a moment.

This it's customisable Nintendont looking version....

So then, this is a "beautifier" version without adding non graphical features -improvements- to gameplay? (No offense meant).

Not clear enough I agree. How about using to digits after the dot instead of just one?
I.e. 7.05 instead of 7.5?

But anyway once version X.10 has been reached this might become futile.

Theoretically the BBA capabilities, shouldn't work in the "offline'' channel, because the wifi it's busy with the PAD.
If you will update the "online" channel it will upgrade the boot.dol into the vWii but it will not upgrade the "offline" channel, because the "offline" channel it's self isolated packaging (so, nothing related to the "online" channel/ boot.dol vWii).

But I'm corious to do one experiment if someone here guys can try, if you have the USB to Ethernet adapter for Wii and Wii U, maybe we could try to go around of that, to turn off the internet Wifi Wii U and plug the adapter USB to Ethenet; to understand if it is possible to go around and connect to the internt without goes in conflict with the Wii U PAD. There are someone here, that has this adapter?

Obviosly, as all we know the 5 number it's less than 10...but in the way I could give you the rights because at the beginning nobody knows if after the principal number (7) I will use the decimal numbers or after 7.9 I can jump to 8.0 version.
And attention, from my side I did/ wrote .05 into the building file but for some reason the 0 was skipt and show just .5.
So, now went like that and we are at 7.10;)

No offense, no worries, unfortunately for now I don't have such deeeep knowledge as FIX94 to make such improvment futures, I make this in amatorial way as a passion becuase I like a lot what FIX94 made. But trust me if I can contribute, I will do for sure without thinking twise on that. Anyway I have in my mind to go to the coding specialist school, and soon who knows.....
In technical espect (except the fancy modding), for now the unique more future it's the TRI Analog Pedals game and I fixed the problem in VS4 Triforce game with the Wii U PAD that on FIX94 still on panding; for the rest it's all the latest same upgrades from FIX94. And if you want contribute to fix somenthing you are welcome as well ;).
So, next I have in my mind to add the possibility to customize the icon on the hombrew, directly from the app (by downloading some new icon and replace it), to be match with your Homebrew theme and starting to add some more new 2021 backgrounds
. For this reason if you have something in particular we can add to the next upgradings....

Hey, sorry if my previous comment seemed harsh or unpolite, that wasn't my intention at all. What I wanted to know was if this version added some features/fixes to what Nintendont already offers, but now that I read my previous comment I think I didn't used the proper words, sorry for that, also, you have answered to that already.

I don't do code (programming) long years ago and would need for a restart. Something I can't do right now, as real life/real problems are taking most of my time. But might suggest some features for it when I get the time to order the ideas on my mind.

Thank you for your time and giving love to the Wii/vWii scene, they have a very faithfull user base, me included.

Again, please accept my apologies if I made you feel unconfortable in any possible way. Best regards.

Smash melee. Using mocha btw. I'm using fake Wii U pro controller though.
I added this in controller.ini,
  • VID=0471
  • PID=0666
This is what's reported when I test on my PC. It worked for an older version of nintendont once, but I've lost it and couldn't get any to work now.

Where is the location to put controller.ini for Wii U?
I've tried,
  1. Root/controller.ini
  2. Root/wiiu/controller.ini
  3. Root/wiiu/controllers/controller.ini
All don't seem to work.

Wii U Pro Controllers are connected via bluetooth, that means that Nintendont won't read any .ini file in the "controllers" folder. I have 2 Wii U Fake Controllers and they work flawlessly in Nintendont, you only need to pair the fake Wii U Pro controller in the vWii menu every time you are going to use it in Nintendont, this works with WiiSXR too.

One thing I wish Nintendont could do is toggle individual cheat codes on/off, instead of being limited to either turn all on or all off.

Do you think that's something that maybe would get added at some point?

Hi, thanks to list out the idea, from my understanding ingame to do On/Off it's not possible because to do that should be patched the single each game and create a special menu (so, as you can imagine it will be a huge work and humanly hard) caused of the Wii U system function that I'm not now to list out all the reasons. BUT, maybe could be implemented a Cheats Voice in the Menu, to choose which cheats to enable/ disable. I need to figure out, maybe I will work on it after realeased the next Nintendont-CrisMMMod....;)

Hi Naruto, it's long time that I don't play in Nintendot with different controllers honestly, almost all the time I'm using the Wii U PAD. Later, when I will be at home I will test. So, only the vibrations it doesn't work? With any game or with some specific one?

Thank you for responding. Yes I tried multiple games and none have rumble. Move over to my pc and all the controllers I tried on Nintendont have rumble even with HID to VPAD on Wii U my DS3 has rumble. The only thing that has rumble on Nintendont is the WiiMote and nunchuk, But when you use it the L, and R buttons and c stick are motion based on the nunchuk and the nunchuk doesn't do motion very well. Also tried the Wii U gamepad but it doesn't have rumble either but I think that is the way it is supposed to be.

Thanks for making this CrisMod! I gotta say that I love the choice of music and hope that it stays in future versions of this homebrew app. I also really look forward to whatever else may come of this mod, even if I unfortunately don't have much to help with this.

However, I have ran into an issue when using a real gamecube ipl bios with this mod that seems to clash with the gamecube bios video and crashes right after I choice a game into a black screen.
When I set "skip ipl" to "yes" or remove my gamecube bios when it is set to "no" it boots the gcn bios video and game just fine. But I can't use my own ipl bios file, which sucks because sometimes I use the real gcn bios to manage the digital gamecube memory card since I am playing on the wii u and can't access the data from the wii menu.

Maybe an option for separating the video ipl and bios ipl will help with this?

Thank you so much for your words @AfroJackX , really appreciate it ;).
Just before yesterday, another user point me out this problem in different way and I fixed on my local new version but I didn't got (and maybe he said the same) that it crash also if you are using a real Gamecube IPL...... Thanks for your issue, I will test and try to understand where is the problem ;).
Ps: to implement a simple background music, it gives many issues to fix around

I just need replace the boot.dol to use the standard configs?
There's a noob guide or video explaning the new functions/how to setup and etc to share it?

It affect already injected games?
Yes, as wrote at first page, you download the loader.dol and then rename it in boot.dol and delete your existing Nintendont and paste this new file. Soon I will release the new version with the Real Bios hot fixing. For the existing injected, it depends how did you prepared, because these injected games if you prepared in one way to be included with the specific boot.dol Nintendont, the game use an included Nintendont specifi version that you did prepared with the installer...

Hi @naruto020499 , it seems that no one conf file it's write to support the rumble/vibration; so I need to create the special conf file to let read the rumble correctly I will go more deep about and let you test the new files....

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Hi @AfroJackX , it seems that the problem of IPL it's that was never supported from the previous mod version for conflicts reasons. But I have the good news, now everything can coexist and will switch automatically between fake Bios and Real Bios backup on base if the files Bios backup are or not into the SD.

Wii U Nintendont CrisMMMod NEW Version 7. 30

Will it be possible to use two HID controllers at the same time?

You need to test and if my memory doesn't recall bad on it, should be fine more than 1.....

For the Rumble/ Vibration we need to check some software that can catch the following datas, I went deep about this story but it needs some pro o relatively professional software to get the Vibrations functions.....To settle the Vibrations I have tried some HID Test pc softwares but NO succes about the Rumble/ Vibration datas to grab. Who is interested the related voice conf are as below:

Rumble=
RumbleType=
RumbleDataLen=
RumbleDataOn=
RumbleDataOff=
RumbleTransferLen=
RumbleTransfers=

For now, in the past, I saw only two people to managment it. They are:
@Zense and @Gaspa81
Please guys, if you still to watch this site, try to help on these Rumble Datas and which PC software did you used to grab such important specs..
