Disney Classic Games Collection sees Aladdin and The Lion King get remastered versions

Zd41nNi.png

Back in the 1990's, Disney had a solid track record of making video game adaptations of some of its most famous movies of the decade. Ones that Sega Genesis/Super Nintendo fans are sure to remember are The Lion King and Disney's Aladdin, released in 1993 and 1994 respectively. Now, a whole new world generation can get to experience those beloved titles, as both will be fully remastered in 1080p in the upcoming Disney Classic Games Collection. This dual pack will see both the SNES and Genesis versions of each game, including their original soundtracks, with the ability to fast-forward and rewind--which may help with The Lion King's notorious difficulty. The Disney Classic Games Collection will be available for pre-order starting tomorrow, and will release on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One later this fall.

I only played the PC version of Aladdin, what did I miss?
The SNES controller?
The monkey?
Capcom Logo
Swinging around wooden pins
Parachute jumping
Bonus wheel of Fortune
??? Etc...

But you had a sword instead of the monkey
And the booklet copy protection
No Capcom Logo
Bonus fruitmachine (bonus lvl play with the monkey?)
??? Etc...

"Not that difficult". Really? Stop trying to be "that cool person who is backhandedly saying he's better than others". They were objectively very very difficult. Cut that out.
I'm not "that guy" i was beating almost 100% OoT when i was 8-9 also, i was the guy helping my 40 years old dad to do the dungeon enigmas too.

Of course it was not EASY i never said easy, i said it was not THAT difficult, i had much harder times finishing the smurfs on Megadrive/Genesis or Tintin in tibet, really.

Because Capcom are dumbasses, and they own the rights to the SNES version, apparently. Well, this just gives me another reason to pirate their games. Yeah, not buying this.
I hope every time you say you'll pirate a game will bite you in the ass later. HEY GUYS I"M ENTITLED TO STEAL GAMES CAUSE THEY DIDN"T DO WHAT I WANTED. Fucking thief.

Yeaaah, I really doubt this. Nice attempt at trying to feel better about yourself. Just be humble. These games are factually very difficult.

Seems like it's just gonna be an emulation collection, wouldn't call it a remaster just a lazy rom pack. Sure a lot of those.
Would love to see a modern take on those games with a proper remake.
Dunno why they dont seek an indie dev out to make one it would be cheap I'd imagine.
Yet cheaper to just rerelease the roms and hopefully use an emulator legally licensed.
No Tomin and Pumba Jungle games?
The PS1, GBA, GBC sequel to the GB port, all not included eh? Guess its just the good ones.
Least it wont sell for sixty bucks but anything over ten or fofteen seems a bit high for a rom pack.
Thiugh points if theres a lot of concept art and such included.

The further i could get on Tintin was the level with the pillars, never finished that one tbf, I don't deny they where hard or difficult, it took me a VERY long time to finish Alladin or Lion King.
2-3 years ago i also replayed them on emulator on PSP, astonishing how something that could take me months when i was young take me a few hours or even less now x), that put thing in perspective ah ah.

Anyway, stop denying stuff for people, you where not with me helping me for that fuckin Sultan palace on Alladin (Fuck those fishes really), i know what've done :).

Careful. You'll get a lot of shit from those self conscious weirdos who are just looking to boost their own egos.

Why can't you people just enjoy things without trying to bully others to think like you? He shared his experience and never said it was easy, just not THAT hard. This reminds me when the SNES mini came out and a lot of people were: "Super Ghouls n Ghosts is sooo hard" well, I never find it too difficult of a game, neither at the times nor today.

In retrospective I think that's because I was a huge fan of the series and I played that game obsessively on my SNES and also I was glad it was not nearly as hard as the GnGs for the C64, try to beat those! (and in the case you can actually beat them I won't judge you).

People have had different experiences and you must accept it, there's no need to call them names to try keep them in line with your expectations.

I hope every time you say you'll pirate a game will bite you in the ass later. HEY GUYS I"M ENTITLED TO STEAL GAMES CAUSE THEY DIDN"T DO WHAT I WANTED. Fucking thief.

Aren't you being a little hypocrite, captain? :rofl2: (/JK)
