Sorry for the stupid question, but does the widescreen function even with original cards? Like, if I launch the cartridge of super Mario 64 ds from twilight-menu, will it be widescreen? Obviusly Having everything in order (patch, etc) ...
Yes. I've tested it, and works fine.

@Robz8 @retrogamefan

First I want to thank you for all the hard work you both put into. Really appreciate all the effort you both into making many ds gems playable in 3ds...
I want to ask about Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, is it still problematic or is there any progress about the AP patch implement on the game, because last i check on github there's no update about this game and still blocking on IRQ forever.

I don't want to rush you or anything, I just want to ask about the update regarding this game. Once again thank you very much for all your hard work...

That game has a patch already included, it should work, I will test it on my end with a clean dump I'll make with godMode9, is supossed to be a lossles dump from what I have read.

If it ends working, then your problem must be the rom.

I already tested both USA and EUR rom, and both still has black screen on boot... Someone from the other threads already tested it and also has black screen on boot...

I can cofirm this as well, It boots into Black Screen, I used a clean dump from the USA version of the game. Tested with every setting to check if overclock causes issues but all combinations give the same results.

EDIT: Digging around for an answer, i found this https://github.com/ahezard/nds-bootstrap/issues/252

It seems that it is a bootstrap issue rather than an AP issue.

v9.1.2: YABFR

Yet another bug fix release. :P

Check here on how to update TWiLight Menu++.
It is safe to update to this version using TWiLight Menu++ Updater.

What's new?
  • If nds-bootstrap isn't found, TWLMenu++ now shows which build isn't found.
  • Added AP-patch for Gyakuten Kenji 2 (Japan).
Bug fix
  • If Bootstrap is set to Release in TWLMenu++ settings, launching a game will no longer boot the Nightly nds-bootstrap build, and vice-versa.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

@Neoma Can you try TWLMenu++ v9.1.2?
The previous version was trying to boot a nightly of nds-bootstrap, instead of a release version, or a release, instead of the nightly version.
It's possible either of those might be out of date.
hello robz, sorry for the way too late reply
for the looks of nds bootstrap.ini it does find an ap patch, but i guess the ap patch really doesnt fix things up, there are 2 cheats i had to activate work, i will test out the latest bootstrap, also im kinda dork, cant upload the ini so i'll copy and paste here

(Will we ever be able to add our own custom Themes? I would like to have something more similar to ODSi System Theme, with the ability to have System Apps, place them wherever you want and pics showing on top screen)
You know what!? Forget it! I'm fine having them on CFW and launching Twilight Menu from there... just, thanks for all the work!

I've a very specific question regarding cheats on Ouendan 2. I've noticed varying degrees of compatibility regarding the cheats: some work (Autoplay), some don't work (Autospin) and some outright give a black screen when trying to play the game (EBA character code). I can still return to TM++'s menu during this black screen, however.

Is there a specific reason this might be happening? Might it be regarding the game itself, or is it due to the fact cheat compatibility might still be a work in progress? I got the cheats from the Twilight Menu updater; my TM++ is in 9.1.2, will update it meanwhile.

Cheat compatibility still seems to be WIP.

Hi all! Has anybody managed to launch KORG DS10+ in DSI mode from an SD card?
I had no luck with it.
I managed to boot KORG DS10 (normal version for DS) after (I guess) TWiLight autopatching.
But even after manualy app-patching the DS10+ version with DS-Scene Rom tool, I still get a blank screen upon game boot.

I get an NDS bootstrapper error if forced into DSI mode, and only a blank screen in DS mode.
Does anyone have any idea on how to troubleshoot this?

Man, I keep forgetting to make the save size for KORG DS10+ 1MB. :P

EDIT: Ok no, the save size isn't the issue.

Man, I was really excited for the widescreen feature but out of all my games it seems only Mario 64 DS benefits from it. Final Fantasy IV looks great on the world map but during battles the background glitches out. The sprites in all Pokemon games look stretched out. Granted, I'm playing on a 3DS XL, but still.
