Daum... i was really hoping to test those changes eventually, they were really promising for squeezing a few more fps for the FX games@niuus please take a look at the 3 Pull Requests I've opened which benefit the speed of the emulator and add some new things:
https://github.com/niuus/Snes9xRX/pull/16
https://github.com/niuus/Snes9xRX/pull/17
https://github.com/niuus/Snes9xRX/pull/18
Never mind, I will close the Pull requests, it is not compiling with the older Devkitppc tools.

Thanks for your effort. I wonder if they can be backported somehow.
devkitPPC r26, liboGC 1.8.15-1@niuus which devkitppc and libogc version do you use to compile?
Is there any way you can have the cheat menu screen have the cheat descriptions scroll or something? I can't see the whole name of some of the cheats with longer descriptions. Thanks!
I though about that some time ago, but haven't been able to sit down and read patiently to understand that part of the code and maybe copy/lift it from the rom navigator, which does exactly this.I'm not sure how difficult that is.
Well, it's all about choice! For me, i would never use Unfiltered (480i) on a CRT, since the crispness of the pixels is incredibly good looking when using the original SNES resolution, 240p. I guess your TV might be 'underscanning' the image a bit too much? I use a PVM, and it's beautiful looking in direct comparison with a real console, which i also have connected through a Scart-RGBS cable for maximum sharpness and quality.I''m using the Unfiltered Rendering on my CRT because when I choose the original mode the game will not be showed at full screen (95% full maybe?), so, I think the Unfiltered is looking more like the real snes.

Whatever you choose for your gaming sessions, remember you can adjust the zoom on the image in Game Settings > Video, to compensate your TV.
