Is there any way you can have the cheat menu screen have the cheat descriptions scroll or something? I can't see the whole name of some of the cheats with longer descriptions. Thanks!

@niuus please take a look at the 3 Pull Requests I've opened which benefit the speed of the emulator and add some new things:
https://github.com/niuus/Snes9xRX/pull/16
https://github.com/niuus/Snes9xRX/pull/17
https://github.com/niuus/Snes9xRX/pull/18

Never mind, I will close the Pull requests, it is not compiling with the older Devkitppc tools.
Daum... i was really hoping to test those changes eventually, they were really promising for squeezing a few more fps for the FX games

Thanks for your effort. I wonder if they can be backported somehow.

Hi refthemc.
If you have matched the .png files with your ROMs, look here.

Settings>Saving & Loading>Covers Folder>snes9xgx/covers.

Also...

Settings>Menu>Preview Image>Covers.

Hope that works for you.

I'm not sure how difficult that is.
I though about that some time ago, but haven't been able to sit down and read patiently to understand that part of the code and maybe copy/lift it from the rom navigator, which does exactly this.

New release is up! (4.0.0)

* Add Wii U GamePad support. [Fix94 - Tantric]
* Allow "Original" render mode to be selectable when using the Wii Options
TV Resolution setting for "EDTV or HDTV (480p)" over component cables:
- This caters specifically to LCD / LED users with 240p supported displays,
since the option was previously hidden. Users with CRT / PVM / BVM displays
with supported 480p Progressive Scan mode will also benefit, since no Wii
setting change will be needed for the "Original" 240p mode to be used.
* Restore MSU1 playback position correctly. [bearoso]
* Restore MSU1_AUDIO_POS. [bearoso]

Users of Wii U's SNES VC Injects, please test the Wii U Gamepad support and report back, as i currently don't have the means to properly test it.

I''m using the Unfiltered Rendering on my CRT because when I choose the original mode the game will not be showed at full screen (95% full maybe?), so, I think the Unfiltered is looking more like the real snes.

Well, it's all about choice! B-) For me, i would never use Unfiltered (480i) on a CRT, since the crispness of the pixels is incredibly good looking when using the original SNES resolution, 240p. I guess your TV might be 'underscanning' the image a bit too much? I use a PVM, and it's beautiful looking in direct comparison with a real console, which i also have connected through a Scart-RGBS cable for maximum sharpness and quality.

Whatever you choose for your gaming sessions, remember you can adjust the zoom on the image in Game Settings > Video, to compensate your TV.

in next update please add wii u gamepad support for injection cant get it to work at all but works in nintendon't and genplus gx
Wii U Gamepad support is now in 4.0.0!

Zoom is the worst option with the Original render. It makes the fonts and sprites deformed

@SylverReZ, atleast wiimmfii went fine although people only use it for Mario kart Wii

At least if they ban you for cheating, get another Wii. They're cheap as chips.

    not really

It got shutdown because somebody "accidentally" leaked the database for the amount of people using the beta.

RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Brb
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
ngl i feel like if a bunch of my friends have wiis and know how to get wiimmfi and back up their NAND, then we could do a PMEX Remix tournament
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
maybe even add UMVC3/DBFZ and make it a biathlon/triathlon
