Quick question:

It is recommended that you backup your SD files before running GBARunner2, as the .sav creation feature may corrupt your SD card.
This does not happen in the GBARunner2 build included in the latest TWiLight Menu++, as it currently doesn't save.

Does this mean I can now use GBARunner2 safely without any risk? Also, what would happen if I load up a game and save in the game's menu? Would that save just not be recorded? I have a 3DS by the way.

Reading the .sav file works, but not writing to it.

Hey Robz I have problem.

I want to install the lastest version but I can't uninstal the actual one (7.4.1). Twilightmenu doesn't appear in data management, so I can't uninstalled but the application works fine.

I just got TWiLight Menu++ a few days ago and I AP patched pokemon w2 and randomized it and it was working perfectly. I wanted to use cheats so I downloaded the cheats from the updater and updated everything else as well. When I try to use cheats it says that there are no cheats found. I am even using the Acekard theme. But when I checked my bootstrap folder the cheatData.bin file was missing, and I do not know how to find it. I am using an o2DS with Luma CFW btw.

Hi to all and a Big Thanks to GBATemp community and Robz8 from Italy. You guys helped me so much with 3DS.

Hi Robz8, i'm a OLD 3DS user with lastet firmware with Luma3D. I have questions about TwilightMenu:

1- Using NDS games, seems like that a Bilinear Filtering is active: there's a way to disabile it?

2- I remember that in older version of TwilightMenu there was the option to change led colors, but now seems removed... there's a way to change led colors?

3- Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands aren't working: there's a way to fix it? I've already tried some AP-patchers.

Thanks in advance!

1. TWL_FIRM needs to be reverse-engineered.
2. We can't do it anymore, now that TWiLight Menu++ can be launched from the 3DS HOME Menu itself.
3. It's currently not compatible.

@AncientBoi, Yeah, believe you can do PSP games as well. But a Pi5 is much powerful in comparison.

Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.

    I dread the price point.

This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    To me that seems reasonable.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150

Yeah it's all choice and that's a good thing :)
