Try holding L immediately after pressing A/START to launch the game.
Mailel_12 meant the opening intro freezing after holding L, i agree there should be a fix down the road.

Hello, im sorry for my bad english but, you can fix the Opening Crash on Tales Of Innocence with english patch please? i love the tales of openings and i hurt when the opening is useless, i´m sorry if i bother you, I would appreciate very much in advance if you could solve this problem.

i use old 3ds with boot9strap

Thanks For All!
For now press A/Start multiple times as soon as see the logos to bypass the freezing intro.

Alright, I recently installed this on my O3DS with Luma CFW and struggling with it. It works great, specifically HeartGold. However I quickly noticed there was an AP baked in the game that would cause it to shut off ~10 minutes.

I quickly found a way to patch the rom (that I backed up from an actual cartridge) using DS Scene and was able to get it working inside Desmume (Windows DS Emulator). However when opening it in Twilight I am greeted with the sleep/power off message. (http://www.andrew-irvine.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/2012-09-02-19.40.30.jpg)

I even went to the lengths of using a pre-patched rom, and that didn't even work!

Now, what's real weird is that the rom breaks Twilight. When putting the non patched rom back onto Twilight, or any DS game for that matter, I get a white screen and cannot continue to launch the game! The only way to "fix" Twilight is to completely delete it from my system and reinstall it. After that I can now load games again. When launching the AP patch it repeats this entire process; sleep/power off message, that breaks Twilight, games now boot with white screen, reinstall Twilight, the non-patched game works. When trying a different patched game (not HeartGold) it works without any issues.

I also noticed that there is a cheat which removes this AP. I ran it on the patched, and non-patched version however get a white screen. However this time it doesn't break Twilight.

Can anybody explain what is happening, and how to fix this? I did the reinstall TWL program BTW, and tried both stable and nightly releases.

For some reason, this sounds like an issue with either your console or your SD card.
Try checking your SD card for errors.
An AP-patched HeartGold ROM works good for me.

How did you patch your ROM? I'm going to have a friend test my patch on his system and also try another SD card. I actually am using a brand new 64gb Samsung Evo card. I'll report back later.

I used OpenPatch in the AP-patch preservation thread.
Your the greatest rob! I saw that thread but didn't see OpenPatch mentioned until I looked back at it again. I ran it, threw it on my ds, and bam it works!

Thank you for helping, and thank you for all your hard work on Twilight.

Everytime I restart my dsi, my dsiware roms lose all the progress in the game.. It's like the save not function properly. Does somebody has the same problem? Oh.. And some of those dsiware doesn't have sound when I play it

Sorry if this has been asked more than enough times or whatever.

I recently gave this a try and have been positively surprised how far these two projects have gone.

Given I have an acekard, wjat does the direct access to it enable? Do DSi enhanced games run in DSi enhanced mode or anything like that? Compatibility will be better too I guess.

Anyway, installing SD version to friend's 3DS amazed me, keep up the good work this is great.
