Hey Guys !
I've been looking all over the internet for a working kernel for that puppy
Found a similar one in this thread but the proposed kernel didn't work for me, eventhough it worked for the person who posted. I just get ablank screen after I start the r4. Am I doing something wrong ? any help would be appreciated !

Try and format the card and put every thing start over

My card wasnt working so i formated it thinking i was able to get the firmware back the card has a website written on it but i tried going to it but had no luck can anyone try for themselves and is there a posibility that i can use this card again

Hey guys, I'm new here and need help installing a firmware for my R4 clone. Details for the card are the following:
- Name: R4 Upgrade
- Website: r4iiisdhc[dot]com

I have downloaded firmware version 3.07 from the linfox site (actually from the webarchive/waybackmachine since the website is down (for me)). I have also downloaded the german version since I'm from Germany (don't actually know if this is the right language for my card since my parents bought it when I was younger)
I tried installing the firmware by formatting the card (using the fat32 format) and copying the downloaded files in the root of the sd card. But when I boot up my ds only a "menu?" pops up. So I clearly made a mistake somewhere, but I don't know which and/or if it was some kind of rookie mistake ^^.
Any help would be appreciated

So I tested a lot of these now ... as it seems to be a TT Clone ... the symbol showing up on DS shows the german spiderwick .... but no boot possible ... just white screens .... how can you tell if a card is bricked or not?

check the micro sd which is formatted in fat 32 and clean all the contacts (flashcard and micro sd) well with alcohol.
If it doesn't go (always with my kernel) it's broken.

i had the same issue with this cheap cr@ppy clone flashcards but after a lot of testings and patience
i found right flles to make it works
opps seems im new member i cant post lynks and semd massage
go to old r4wood dot kom
kernel donwload tab
r4i sdhc kernel
find R4i-SDHC YSMenu V7.06
and d0wnload it n extract directly to sd
hope its works
