I doubt this would work, but try the classic "take out the battery, wait 30 seconds, and put it back in", trying doesn't hurt
Although note that if you do this, you'll need to boot into Godmode9, set the time there, then boot to the home menu and change the time in the settings

Even though that trick doesn't always work, I'm glad this advice stuck with you.

Well, i've fixed the dsiware problem, but still no sound.. And doesn't Lazarus3DS fix bricked 3DS?

Because you

(1) have no NAND backup before the sound problem happened
(2) tried CTRtransfer
(3) reinstalled DSP system module *.cia / *.app
(4) checked that none of the four FIRM modes have sound

Lazarus3DS is the last software repair method you have left. And yes, it's meant to fix bricks, which your old 3DS isn't. Unless you considered the dead sound as a type of brick. ^_^

yees.. I was used to think if this sound issue was a kind of brick last year, but i've found nothing about it.. I really wanted to talk with the dudes who had the same problem like me, but nobody has replied.. i'll try that last method, let's hope it works..
Btw, if the Lazarus3DS doesn't work, i'll see if i can open my 3DS. I was starting to think that the main problem it's the headphone socket.. Idk, it could be brocken and the 3DS thinks that i'm using headphones, but probably not, because when i put the speakers close to my ears, i can listen something (not the 3DS sound, but that sound when a speaker it's working, idk how to explain that.. it's like you set your headphone to the max, and you can listen it's noise..) btw, but when i put some headphones, this noise stops, so the problem couldn't be the socket, but who knows..

Try using sysUpdater and that darth site (find an older firmware package) to downgrade your o3DS to firmware 9.2.0-20U. Then use System Settings to upgrade it back to 11.8.0-41U.

If that doesn't work, I would seriously consider cutting your loses. Back up your games with Checkpoint or JKSM and get a replacement motherboard or 3DS.

Necro bump. I stumbled on something you can also try if you still have the o3DS, @Pepeu557.
Try messing around with your headphone jack. Use a wooden toothpick.

Oh yeah.. It didn't worked, I even REMOVED the headphone jack from the motherboard XD
well, I sold it, I'm playing on my 3DS XL now, and trying to fix a faulty Wii U that's not turning on, I think the RAM is the responsible, since The red light turns on but when I press it, it flashes but nothing happens, Like, I think it try to turn it on, but it can't..
You could help me with that if you want, I'd be very happy =]

You should probably create a new thread for this

I have no expertise fixing game consoles outside the 3DS systems.

Sound like an overheating problem, why not open and clean it. You should open another thread.

I agree the wii sounds like a heat issue. It could have been over clocked like ps3 and X360' and need you need to reflow the gpu and give it a cleaning. If the lights come on look for a WiiU maintenance guide on Ifixit and see if there are any hardware tests you can run on it.

Aside from that I also have no audio on many applications with my 3DS.
This isnt a sudden thing as i purchased it for $30 and the seller told me right away. I figured he had run a CFW on it and buggered something but when he demo'd that it turns on and such there were absolutely no signed of CFW or any softmodding that i could tell.

I get the sound when typing and the camera and on Snex9 only. I dont have any physical games i can run at the moment because they are at my parents about 150 miles away lol

Im currently trying to clean up any duplicate files i have in my SD directory as ive moved the Gba Bios around and the Dsp1 cia and 3dsx a few times hoping it would scan or something properly. I installed Dsp1 with Fbi ran the app and loaded up Gpsp and still no sound.

I installed the Dsp1 core into the GpsP core before loading a game and it crashes.
Installed it after loading a game and it crashes. I load the bios then game and then run the dsp1 and it crashes.
I go to settings and it says there is nore DSP core.
Not even getting sound feedback in the RetroArch menu when scrolling the directory.
But again still getting sound on Snex9 standalone emu. Not run through RetroArch.
Ive been reading through threads for days but no luck either i just wanna hear some megaman, ya know?
