For EUR/PAL console owners, this game requires the Video Mode patching (NTSC to PAL) for it to work.
Reason being, when the games get created, some devs will code both NTSC and PAL video modes, in most cases USA games will work fine on EUR/PAL console. If they only code NTSC video modes, you will get black screen on EUR/PAL console.

In the script, go to:
Advanced => TICK the option: Patch video mode with Wii-VMC

Added Notes:
Game does support GamePad, below is my comment I added to the WiiU VC Wii inject compatibility list site a while ago, I just edited the comments to reference the latest version of the script, my old comment was in relation to the old script, so the fw.img had to be manually patched, no need for the latest script as it has this feature baked in:
TeconMoon v3.0.1, use "**Force Classic Controller Connected" option in "GamePad/Meta Options'. Controls a awkward because game is using vertical controls at the start, before the innings starts there is option to change control scheme to horizontal which disables all motion control and game plays fine. Game will boot to black screen on EUR/PAL console, NTSC to PAL video mode must be patched for it to work on EUR/PAL console,
nice ill try that

I'm trying to get GameCube games working with this.

I can only get the game to run when I install the game to system storage (not a USB drive), and it only runs if the USB drive is not connected to the system.

So after doing that to get the game to run, I get an error saying "Failed to create memory card file" when Nintendont's Memory Card Emulation option is on. But obviously I want to turn that on so I can save my game...

Running the games off of SD or a FAT32 hard drive through Nintendont launched from the Wii homebrew channel from the vWii system menu works fine and it DOES load my save.

How do I get this working so it can read my save files from the Wii VC injected version?

To me it sounds like ur config is in wrong spot. Goes on root and not in nintendont folder in Wii apps
When u choose the tab in injector app choose ur settings make sure u put that file on sd card root
It’s been awhile since I did mine. But select memcard emulation and 256 block

And last I’m a little confused with ur setup. U mention ur fat32 hd
Do u have a Wii U hardrive and a vwii hd
The VC injects have to go on Wii U hardrive, the one ur Wii U games are on
A hd formatted as fat32 would be a vwii hd and u can’t install VC injects to that

I know some people use mocha and there’s something with using fat32 hd but idk how that’d work.

How is ur Wii U hacked? What r u using

Planning to inject some GC games. This may be answered a bunch of times already but here goes. What are the supported controllers in GC games? (can I use the GCN adapter, or any other controllers?)

Yes I have a Wii U formatted hard drive and a FAT32 hard drive as well.

Honestly it’s been a while and I don’t remember what I used to hack my Wii U, but CHBC loads when I turn on my system, with or without an SD card.

The nincfg.bin is in the root of my SD card. It’s the same config that is used when I start Nintendont from the homebrew channel in vWii mode.

Also is it possible to have separate settings for different games? I want some games to use widescreen patches but not others.

Yeh there is a way to setup dif settings for each game. I’m not sure exactly as I have mine with one for all. I think u maybe can’t have it auto load right to the game. I think it’s gotta have nintendont come up. Sounds like ur setup is on par with mine
Maybe someone else can chime in with info on doing individual settings per game
If u use usbloader gx to run nintendont through then u can do per game settings

Okay, thanks. I still can’t get the game to run from a Wii VC inject when memory card emulation is turned on, though.

Try running the game from nintendont within vWii first, and have it create a save.

To address your other question about seperate configs for widescreen, there is an option in the injector to force 4:3 (basically ignore widescreen settings), so you can keep widescreen settings on in the main nintendont config, and then use force 4:3 for the games you don’t wish to have in widescreen.

It already does have a save. I've been using Nintendont the "normal" way from the vWii for a long time, I already have save files. If I load Nintendont from vWii it still uses those save files if memory card emulation is turned on. But I have to turn it off otherwise it gives me the error saying "Failed to create memory card file".

Ok great. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't something I was doing. One more thing. Do you have any idea what would be causing the left joystick on the gamepad to not work properly on Retail wii injects? When I push the joystick all the way up, it tries to shift down. Does this on multiple games, I've even tried it using the old version of the script. Video below.

Anyone out there have a possible solution for this?

Is there an estimate on how much space this program needs to finish an injection? I've been trying to throw together Rune Factory Frontier so I can avoid needing to open vWii all the time, but even with 10GBs free I'm running out of space and failing.

If I could figure out a way to force the temp work folder over to my gigantic external HDD, could just bypass the problem..

Update, but I found a way to move where Windows places temporary files and switched my PC to use the external HDD. Check this article for information how, though a note for Windows 10 users: when it says 'Right click on Computer', for me that meant right clicking on 'My PC' on the left side of an open Explorer window.

So, if I use the injector script, would it access the same save as the one in the vWii? For example if I play Mario kart Wii using the disc, and also sometimes use the injection, will it share the same save file? Or would it be two different ones

As long as same region it saves to same spot

Anyone try a wiimmfi patched iso injection with a LAN adapter? I keep instantly getting 51420 on my brawl injection, but the injection works fine (although slower) with a wireless connection. Just seems to be with the injection + lan adapter (and the lan adapter works fine when loading brawl with the wifi patch code on vanilla vwii.)

It's not a problem with mocha + lan adapter, because my wii u friends list loaded while on mocha before launching the brawl injection.
I've also tried all mocha versions, tried moving the brawl injection from my USB storage to the system storage, and tried launching the injection pressing "no" to gamepad emulation using wiimote; all resulted in error 51420 when connecting to WFC via a LAN adapter on the brawl injection.

If someone else who's made wiimmfi patched wii injections can try connecting via LAN adapter and report back it'd be appreciated. My guess is the wiivc might not have USB support

The issue isn't with wiimmfi, the issue is that when your wii u's main connection is set to Wired Connection, a wiimmfi patched wiivc injection will refuse to attempt a connection.

A wiimmfi patched wiivc injection will work perfectly fine with a Wireless connection, but when selecting nintendo wfc using a Wired connection on the with the same wiivc; I was prompted immediately with error 51420 without even a second of a connection attempt. This leads me to the conclusion that wiivc wii u injections don't support USB LAN adapters (similarly, usb loader's don't either)

As I said earlier, if anyone has a LAN adapter and wiimmfi patched injections, it'd be greatly appreciated if you could post results with both together.

Oh I didn’t mean to say that would fix the problem. I figured if you asked at that forum maybe they’d have a better answer. Seemed like they were geared towards wiimmfi more cause mk was a big part with that app or whatever it is

The problem isn't with wiimmfi. The issue is that the wiivc injector is probably just nintendo official USB loader, and no usb loader has supported usb LAN.

I can confirm using an el cheapo eBay LAN adapter gets the Error Code: 51420, like you, on Wifi is fine.

What is more interesting is that it's not just this game that is having issues connecting using the LAN adaptor, it's pretty much any game that uses the Wiimmfi patch, more specifically the "Patcher for all other games" patch used from HERE.
I have tried about 4 other games that I applied the Wiimmfi patch and all got the same error message.

Now the question is, would you get the same error if your using the official Nintendo LAN adaptor? of is it something to with official Wii VC eShop releases which disabled the LAN adaptor or something completely different, something to ponder about.

I would imagine an official nintendo LAN adapter would bear the same result, though I'm using a 3rd party adapter as well by Rocketfish.

The bigger question is if any USB devices work with wiivc injections (Wii speak or keyboard in ACCF for example), or if wiivc injection loading has the same usb device issues as usb loading.
