Okay. I'm going to try to articulate this as well as possible, for nothing irritates me more than when people are being vague.
Last night, I updated my (presumably) regular ps4 to the 5.xx jailbreak exploit, or in my case, it was 5.05. The process was surprisingly easy. Now once I tried to look up what cool stuff I could do with it, that was when I was met with a roadblock-- the debug settings. I don't know how to install them, or at least on this current firmware. I've looked up numerous tutorials on YouTube and Google, but I've either found nothing on Google, clickbait videos on YouTube made by Indian/European dudes for monetary gain, or I even have found a video, but it's entirely in Spanish.
Now, that doesn't mean that there aren't any videos out there, however. It appears that about 99.9% of them either refer to firmwares 1.76 or 4.05. While I'd be down to downgrade, I don't know how to do that, and I'm surely not going to rip the console open anytime soon.
That being said, are there any ways to activate the debug settings on the 5.xx firmware or a way to downgrade to the beloved 4.05? I thank you all in advance.
UPDATE: Turns out, I merely downloaded a copy of the regular 5.05 update, so this whole post is now irrelevant. Don't always trust what you see online, everyone.
