The purpose of haxchi is to load the sig patches with a LEGIT game. If your game isn't legit, haxchi is pointless cause it can't boot without LEGIT permissions. That is why the guide says buy a NDS game from eshop to install haxchi if you want it. I bought kirby mass attack for $5 on eshop during a sale. I converted it to Loadiine if i wanna play it and then turn it to haxchi boot to load mocha in one go.

If you can use haxchi without Buying a game, then it would have mentioned doing so long time ago :grog:

OK. Is it possible to create a new nnid and put resident in world as USA.then purchase a USA gift card to access eshop to buy a DS game. Then go through the installation of haxchii ??

You Obviously haven't read this thread from the beginning and like most ppl have jumped to a typical conclusion which involves the money aspect of things and the assumption of ones stinginess .

you have already been told at beginning of the thread that nintendo wont know anything about your dark intentions. if they did care of, they would have patched or removed the exploitable nds games long time ago

You are absolutely right I was told that. But your comment was about avoiding to pay $7 and the lengths ppl will take. That's the reason I highlighted it as that was an assumption on my behalf albeit you made the comment indirectly.

hmmm i dont know if it is worth changing you wiiu region, if you do so you may end with a DS game from another region and you will have to always switch region to play your previous games

i dont know specificities of Uruguay ... is it different region from ntsc-u ? can't you buy games directly from your contry eshop ?

I'm not sure if someone suggested this yet or not, but you can go on the nintendo website and sign in with your nnid and purchase the ds vc you want to use with a prepaid credit card or gift card and then when you go onto eshop with your wii u all you have to do is spend a couple of mins downloading your ds vc.

Would be good if we can get another way to boot into the cfw without the purchase of a DS title.

There is, loadiine.ovh and boot mocha off your SD card

The DS Game method (haxchi) just allows you to it all without an internet connection.

You can autoboot to Mocha.

Make your Wii autostart the browser on launch. Have your browser autoboot to the Mocha payload. Done

Its only 7 bucks, if you pay 7 bucks, you can download any game and play it, any region. If you look at it from my standpoint, 7 bucks is a good deal.

Yeah I don't get that. In the UK its like £8 so around $12. I don't want to pay using cc details and the minimum gift card in GBP is like £15. F#£k that lol

I used a pre-paid visa that had 8 bucks left on it. I got it for Christmas last year from a relative.
