I hope a Wii U external HDD formatting tool gets released too, would really like to repartition my Wii HDD so I can share it between both systems.

I'm thinking it's a program for pc to format the hard drive in the wii u format, sort of like the one that was for wii. Install games on hard drive from pc then put on hard drive and then wii u won't ask to format hard drive.

Just ordered a 1.5 TB external HDD. That one will replace my 6+ year old one (I got it freshman year high school) to make sure I don't lose files due to HDD fail, and the old one will go to the Wii U. I'm hoping there will be a way to let the Wii U and vWii share the same drive so I can eventually keep both my Wii U and Wii games on one drive (unless that is already possible, if so I would love a link)

I believe with a Cfw the format nag could be disabled ,no ?
