You have to drag the file onto the .exe file. Read usage towards the bottom of post (after Download).

Ah okay.. It worked!
But then he says save file corrupted und loads an old safe :(

Is there a safe way to convert from 128kb to 64kb to inject it properly?

It appears that you have to wipe a specific string from the ROM file. There are some guides on how to do so here:

What is TWL and NTR? I assume it has something to do with NDS games, but not exactly sure where the name comes from. I inserted a cart that said "Detected NTR" and one that said "Detected TWL" So i was curious.

TWL -> DSi
NTR -> DS

they're the codenames for the consoles. much like CTR = 3DS, RVL = Wii, WUP = Wii U....

Well that explains a lot. Guess is a reason why is a codename. I wasn't meant to know what it was. :P

Soo out of being curious, i poped in my acekard 2I and it showed up as NTR, and refused to dump. I didn't care that it didn't dump but how can acekard 2i be anything related to DSI? wasn't they invented before then? However the R4I SDHC was a TWL and dumped 32 MB, which again, was curious, didn't care or not. That was why i asked. Perhaps someone can invent a adaptor for GBA to NDS a GBA cart player in slot 1

Maybe not, i'm just a idea man. Not a genius like you all :)

On first boot with the latest stable release, I could use the selection for friendsave injection, but now subsequent boots won't allow me, instead sticking to the last friendsave I dumped, "friendsave3.bin."

Edit: silly me, needed to move the friendsaves to the files9 folder.

Well, I tested the only TWL cart I own, Pokémon White; and it shows up as NTR, before refusing to dump with an InvalidSecureCartID error. (B6884E00 != C001FFC2)

Don't know if you need to know, but it sounds useful so I'm saying it.

Do DSi(NTR) titles usually have issues dumping? I dumped my Action Replay DSi, which showed up as a NTR title, without any issues but I realize that this may be a special case since Action Replay's are more on the obscure side of things.

Ha that'd be crazy to say the least. I was surprised to see that the Action Replay showed up as a hacked Game and Watch rom. I never really knew how they worked before.

Hey guys, have you successfully injected a gba pokemon save file? I have tried several times but when I open my pokemon emerald game it says that the save file is corrupted and loads what I think is a backup of the previous one (same thing that happened to @Blyton a few posts back).
It fails no mater what size the or procedure to trim the save file I use, even taking the original gbavcsave.bin and edit it drives me to the same result. If do not mind, me and many other people will be very thankful if you can provide an idiot proof guide to successfully inject the save files.

BTW I am using a pokemon emerald cia provided by @Asia81 in that iso website.

It will always say that the save file is corrupted because AGB_FIRM doesn't support 1 Megabit flash chips as used in the Pokemon Games. The Game is patched to accept 64 KB/512 Kbit flash chips but will always show that error, it should work nonetheless.

I haven't been able to import a Pokemon savegame using Decrypt9 yet. But I have some ideas how I might be able to make it work. But I haven't tried it yet.

Third times the charm: A new D9 release again. This is new:
  • Fully working, improved CTRNAND auto transfer with no known bugs
  • CTR/NTR/TWL cart dumping handled by same menu entries
  • KeyY0x24 is auto setup on A9LH (still needs an external file on other entrypoints)
This wil be hopefully be the last release for a while. I messed up several things trying to push a major release just before my vacation, all of which should be fixed in this release now.

Also read this, an important note on Auto CTRNAND Transfer: Yes, this can be used to transfer O3DS CTRNANDs to N3DS. Yes, 2.1 ones, too. Testing so far looks very, very good. Still, if you try this without any deeper knowledge on the matter and without a hardmod, you're a jackass. Wait for @Plailect to update his guide!

The keyY0x24 auto setup doesn't seem to work on my N3DS (A9LH). It just says "0x24 KeyY: not found" in the log.

Edit: nvm I'm stupid, forgot to replace the A9LH payload.

I know what CTRNAND is and everything, but I don't understand, how this will be useful for arm9loaderhax installation? Can someone explain this to me please?

you'd be able to use a pre-built 2.1 CTRNAND image to go to 2.1.0-4 and install a9lh. no more setting up rednand and things.

How crazy would it be if we somehow got an ARM9 exploit for the latest firmwares... Getting i.e. from a vanilla 11.0 to 11.0 A9LH would be a matter of few steps, right?
