Wow, comments are heating up in the nintendolife link I posted a couple of posts above. Don't get what's up with boasting about what you can or cannot do with a 3DS w/ CFW on a site like that. If some people are interested in this they can search for the info themselves and sooner or later they will find this site. But whatever..

Awww yeah! Gamestop emailed me confirming that they're holding the game for me! I'ma pick it up tomorrow, they better not jack up the price.

I just wanna buy the game, because it's 5 dollars, and a neato exploit, I have no plans to sell it! :P Plus, making a 28 dollar profit, isn't really worth the effort to me.

Some of the comments on this article are so grotesquely vitriolic they almost border on bigotry.

"Hackers don't care. Hackers are selfish jerks hurting the livelihoods of others by doing stuff like this and they know it, but they don't care."

and

"Scum. Hang them."

It was the "and you'll only get banned if the mons are visibly hacked." bit I was saying you're a little off with ^^
Sorry if I wasn't quite clear enough, but what I meant by 'visibly hacked' was 'not byte-for-byte indistinguishable from a legit Pokémon'.

"and even then most hacked mons will be detected before you enter those anyway"
= Most hacked mons are caught by the hack check.

"you'll only get banned if the mons are visibly hacked"
= Even if they do pass the hack check, if they are 'visibly hacked' (illegal movesets, pokéball it's caught in etc.) you can still get banned/have your rating battle ranking removed etc.

"You most likely won't get banned if you gen mons that can't be byte-for-byte distinguished from legitimate ones"
= If you gen them to be byte-for-byte perfect you'll be fine _b

lol I only posted when I only read like... halfway through since I saw everyone bashing hackers and how "it's bad for developers" which... I can understand that, but when they used VVVVVV as an example... while I feel bad for Terry (VVVVVV IS one of my all time favorite games, even bought the 3DS version when it first came out, not even close to the recent hax lol...) he DID sound impressed that someone found an exploit in the game... as he's also allowed on their company forums how to include more custom maps in the 3DS version, which included needing access to homebrew hahaha...

Although original guide like it says in the link, is written on here somewhere too. Either way though, some people just can be biased...

Like Nintendo keeping their own games with exploits on them on the eshop but not indie developer games and even marking down one half price *cough*OoT3D*cough*

But yeah that comments section... lol... I forgot why I never reply to them and just "move on" when things get heated up... that definitely be why >.>

I agree completely. Ultimately I feel as though the onus is on Nintendo, as, considering they blocked downgrading from 11.0, their motivation for taking down Freakyforms Deluxe (and even VVVVVV and Citizens of Earth) effectively boils down to 'control' and trying to take back the console.

Taking Freakyforms at least made some sense, considering it's a primary exploit, but with VVVVV and Citizens of Earth, it just seems, I don't know, like a knee-jerk reaction, almost.

Homebrew can bring people fun and enjoyment, and the 'horrible hackers' are just finding out cool stuff that can help people access it.

What's JB Online? :P
EDIT: Found it. :P
Edit2: But they are $29 on there. ;-;
$29AUD is possibly close to the cheapest you'll find it first-hand in Australia.

And yeah, JB Hi-Fi is an Australian Electronics/Media/Technology/Home Appliance retailer. So they sell PAL region games etc., so they wouldn't be of much use to an American :^)

LOL at this comment on that nintendolife article on freakyhax

"You can't really blame the hackers. It's mainly Nintendo's fault for allowing exploitable games to be published before the exploits are patched out."

Retards.

One of my favourites:

"i'm i the only one that's not a fan of how they get the homebrew with these games? surely they could make an app of their own (and, yes i know it takes time) it would be alot easy on everyone"

Logic is lost on those people...

Kind of annoying to have to play the game for quite a long time before using the hax.
Well, because of that, I did this. And I don't feel sorry at all :D

edit if you're not here, it doesn't mean I don't like you, it's more likely that your avatar is too hard to do in FFD (except yellows8, which is just rectangles, but that was the contrary for him, too easy :P)
edit sorry for potato quality, I use weird settings in NTR Viewer.
edit none of these edits was an edit. I lied.
