Adding to this. I was able to make the trophy display levels function like a normal stage by adding the Wiifit Studio collision data to it. Also there's plenty of totally unused, but functional SSS cosmetics and a mymusic entry could probably be added for these unused stages without too much trouble.I mapped out most the stage parameter stuff. Pretty much all of the added stages are "functional" in vs mode. I'm going to figure out how to put the good extra stages in the extra stage list and do a few other things then upload my work here.
The random extra battlefield next to the homerun contest has a very weird item spawn list.
It spawns giant primed bomb-ombs(like the ones from 3DS smash run) that are super powerful, different? smart bombs, hammer heads, and a ray gun shot.
Once I finish with my experiments, I'll make a pack that adds the interesting stages to the extra stages section with SSPs and upload the pack to gamebananna.
I feel that with a little bit of legwork, the trophy display levels, the custom move testing stage, and the Wifi waiting room could be turned into fully functional extra stages without actually breaking anything, or at least anything that matters.
Also every single omega stage is actually a completely different stage ID, so you could probably use Battlefield's, Town and City's, and Smashville's omega stages as extra stages and just set them to use their default stage layout as their omega form.
