I haven't done it myself since my screen is fairly close and I can read the text fine, but:
1. Download the CPK editor from OP
2. Start CriPackedFileMaker.exe
3. There should be a colorful button to the right of the folder button at the top right. Click on it.
4. Direct it to XenobladeFolder\content\menu.cpk and hit OK.
5. Now press the button that's to the right of the previous button you clicked, and create a new folder somewhere and extract the files into that folder.
6. Open the folder and go to the font\us directory and delete eurasia.fnt and normal.fnt.
7. Now, go up one folder (so you're in the \font\ folder) and copy the eurasia.fnt and paste it into the font\us directory. Rename this file to normal.fnt and then paste eurasia.fnt again.
8. Now go back to CriPackedFileMaker.exe, and click on the folder button this time.
9. Open the folder you created in step 5.
10. At the bottom right corner there should be a Build CPK file button. Click on it, select where you want to save it, click OK to pack your .cpk file.
11. Inside XenobladeFolder\content\, make a copy of menu.cpk and save it somewhere safe, in case something goes wrong.
12. Replace menu.cpk with your new .cpk file. Rename it to menu.cpk if you need to.
Indeed... it's to minimize text overlapping or out of position... i guess.Your simple tutorial is awesome...it worked for me but I do have to say the fonts isnt THAT bigger than before
Nice, thank you very much. I kinda don't have the time to look at why it's broken, and it's incredibly broken, so I'm happy someone else made a new one.Well, because the patcher in OP didn't seem to work properly for me and some other people, I decided to write my own (+ I get some practice with coding so that's nice).
If anyone could test it, that would be awesome. I think I've made sure everything works, but who knows when stuff breaks, so yeah.

Using the patch shouuuld be pretty self explanatory I think.
The patcher lets you pick between undubbing, uncensoring and font size patching (or everything at the same time), as well as the option to delete any English line that isn't replaceable. It should also do a md5 check on all the .cpk's that get used during the patching, and I kinda just assume the EU and US versions are identical. Tell me if they're not. You can continue the patch anyway even if it detects different md5 values. It should also make sure you're actually in a folder that's patchable and stuff like that.
Backups of all modified files will be saved in a Backup folder where the patch resides. The patch also unpacks chr_pc.cpk, which is a pretty huge file. This means that you'll need quite a bit of free space for the patch to work with.
For the undub and uncensoring patches, you'll need the Japanese game as well, while you'll only need the English game for the font size patch.
Uncensor:
-----------------------
- Replaces every file in chr_pc.cpk tagged _us with its Japanese counterpart.
works great but it was really picky in terms of the naming of the content folder. mine was named AXJ5 or something similar to that and did not work until i renamed it to content.Well, because the patcher in OP didn't seem to work properly for me and some other people, I decided to write my own (+ I get some practice with coding so that's nice).

What the patch does:
Undub:
-----------------------
- Replaces every file tagged _us in \movie folder with its Japanese counterpart.
- Replaces every file in \stream folder with its Japanese counterpart. (Includes _f and _m tagged files)
- Adds all the missing voice choices from the Japanese game. (Not the menu in-game, just the files.)
- Replaces every file in ev.cpk\stm\us with its Japanese counterpart.
- Replaces every file in snd.cpk\se\voice with its Japanese counterpart.
Remove Leftover English:
-----------------------
- Deletes every file that has a filename that does not match a file in the Japanese game. (Does not include tagged files such as _us or _f and _m)
Uncensor:
-----------------------
- Replaces every file in chr_pc.cpk tagged _us with its Japanese counterpart.
Font Size:
-----------------------
- Replaces eurasia.fnt and normal.fnt in menu.cpk\font\us with eurasia.fnt from menu.cpk\font
AXJ5 is the content folder from the JPN game dump my guess is its probably named that way from dumpingworks great but it was really picky in terms of the naming of the content folder. mine was named AXJ5 or something similar to that and did not work until i renamed it to content.
You're welcome! The only thing I've really done is automating the process, most of the groundwork already got done by some other amazing people.@CXu Thank you so much for your hard work, getting this game Undub was a wish come true for me as an Undub freak, the uncensorship was a bonus.
Well, even if I rename the \content folder to \AX5J, it still worked fine.
I've updated the patcher though, so now you should be able to run the uncensoring patch even if you only have the Japanese chr_pc.cpk in your source folder and the English one in the destination folder, etc.

However, Treehouse missed 2 files, so I'm betting the two "_us" files that weren't changed are those chest bandage wrap things, since it's unchanged for the female.
Indeed! I use cafiine to check what is the name of the loaded music. You can convert files to adx with PES Sound File Converter 1.8It's possible to swap music themes? Are they individual files or are packed?
