Well, I got to gamestop to try to exchange, they got like 2 black and 3 red on the front shelf, I took a peek at the red one and it is XX1 and i exchange it with mine right away. I noticed the 2 black they have are XX4 as well. Went home check the red and the firmware is 9.0. BTW, I noticed something very weird, the first black I got from the gamestop doesn't have those security sticker on it and the red i just got have 2 of those security sticker on both end of the box.

Ahh, good yeah I guess the blacks would all be from the same batch so they will all probably be 9.4, well at least you got a 9.0 console anyway
We don't have any security stickers on the boxes here, if it's something the store put on themselves they probably just accidentally stuck 2 on the 1 box
I won't be considering buying an N3DS unless Gateway can confirm that there are no limitations in emuNAND
I installed EmuNAND on my N3DS so that I could download games from the eshop. When I download anything from the eshop it shows up correctly in emuNAND but doesn't show at all in sysNAND.
If I look in the data management in the sysNAND it lists everything I've downloaded but the icon is greyed out and has a cross in the bottom right hand corner.
Does anyone know how to get my eshop games to show up in sysnand?

Can you try downloading something from the eShop using an SD card that does not have an emuNAND partition?

Are you trying to get games to show up in sysNAND so you don't need to boot Gateway mode every time for convinience?
Yes exactly that reason. On my original 3DS this is what I used to do.
I could boot all my eshop games from sysnand fw 9.2 that I had download through the eshop in the emunand.
I *think* so. I see plenty of guides on how to unlink the emunand and sysnand, but can't find a guide to link them.
Can you try making a brand new emuNAND on a fresh SD card, and try downloading something and see if it shows up in sysNAND after you've verified they're linked?
i remember reading that yesterday. i just wanted to test the theory and let y'all know what i came up with. just an alternate way of doing things. and as for the tool i read people were having issues with large micrSD cards and the emuNAND. may have misread somewhere i guess but ill get to test it here in a bit

That's some goofy logic right there. Many Nintendo updates do something to stop emuNAND from working until Gateway releases an update, but that's not "blocking" Gateway. When a Nintendo update that stops the Sky3DS from working is inevitably released at some point, what will you you be able to update to restore that functionality? There's no emuNAND on Sky to bypass what no longer works with sysNAND, so it'll be a very light paperweight.
That is of course assuming that Nintendo even cares to go through the motions. They seem markedly unwilling to even permanently ban people using flash carts from online services, let alone try to stop flash carts from working altogether.
Really the only thing people need to worry about when deciding which cart to get is whether they just want to play 3DS ROMs (Sky3DS), or if they want to play 3DS ROMs and use any of a million other features (Gateway).
I just formatted a new micro sd card, inserted it into the N3ds, firmatted a new emunand, updated the emunand and downloaded something from eshop.
Still the same thing!
From what I have read as well emunand tool has not been updated yet. There is a guide here on using a couple of free utilities to move emunand so it shouldn't be a problem. I will be trying it later tonight.
Someone a few pages back was asking about 3.1 OOT exploit on O3DS. From my testing 3.1 launcher works on o3ds but you still need to use the browser exploit. When I press A in the hut nothing happens.

Question, (Not asking where you can get it but) Is it possible get Eshop apps + virtual console games + indie games files without getting them off the Eshop directly?
(Once again i'm not asking for a link right now, just wondering if its do able)
