well they cant exactly just bypass encryption without knowing the decryption keys .....if they could we would have 10.3 n3DS emunand support already.....and screw it probably 10.3 CFW support if people could just "bypass" encryption without keys......maybe gw would be too busy bypassing banks if we could all just
to help you understand, GW can bypass things that are basic stuff.....such as a game saying "you must be on 9.3 to play me".....that is where the term "bypass" comes into play, as they can simply ignore that requirement......now if the game is encrypted and they don't know the password they cant just ignore that issue

You can prevent that from happening again if you unlink your nands or install your cias on both nands. And to delete the Nintendo channel icon, just try to start it then refuse when it asks you to download it on the eshop.

How did you find the item IDs? Ive been looking around but haven't found a working way to find them. Did I overlook something or is there more to it? Thanks.

Wait, is that true about Pokemon Picross? Why would they introduce new encryption on just that?
I'm not sure i fully understand your question. Do you mean how i initially found the adress for the slots ids? Unless you know some items IDs you can't search with 'exact search'.
Use unsigned 16bit search and use the 'different' and 'equal' search types to slowly seek out the right adress.
Here's some more byte values for items so you can find it faster
The adress for the slot 1 ID is 15FBEDD0, slot 2 is 15FBEDD4, slot 3 is 15FBEDD8 and so on
Same way with money in AC New Leaf. Can't for the life of me find the adress for money or let's say one that is modifyable

/edit: Ok i looked at the other post. You are using everything i use. Only thing i could think of would be the usage of a US rom or something. Did you use the correct formatting? That screwed up my Gateway sometime before. Basically put everything into one line in your cheat file. Like this:

Oh, so it's more of a minor annoyance than a major cock-up on Gateway's part. The way you described it I thought it was something akin to Sky3DS not being able to overcome the new AP checks without a hardware revision.
