@Yepi69 why would you want to use the TTmenu? The YSmenu is waaaay better than the default TTmenu. No need for decrypting any games.

sorry noob question but what do you need decrypting ds games for? I had the TTMenu all the time and i just added the roms and played them, no patching or other stuff needed.

you can use ttmenu.dat from 6.83 with the ttmenu folder from 6.84 to get the game fixes.
this isn't supported by RetroGameFan and may cause any number of issues, but it does give you the game fixes from 6.84 while using ttmenu's kernel rom.

im doing this on my r4i gold plus (had to copy ttmenu.dat to r4.dat, renamed the original r4.dat to r4.nds, .... crazy ;D)

just copied the extlib and infolib dat files

You can customize the YSmenu however you like as well too.

But I guess everyone likes different things. I just prefer the YSmenu and my Black and green theme.

Still getting error -4 with Pokemon White 2 on v6.85

Edit: Tried it again with clean 512mb file, it worked. I applied the challenge mode code before and it didn't. Is there a way to use the code with untrimmed roms?

who's fault is it if a hacked game doesn't work.

certainly not any of the flash card makers or kernel maintainers

Guys, excited about the new update but... can't make it work on my R4 SDHC. I've been able to use past RetroGameFan Firmwares on it, but now I can't get it past the LOADING screen.... I have tried with every R4 related folder with the same results.

EDIT: Noticed the R4 folders lack some files previous versions had. I solved it by puttingthe 6.83 FW into the flashcard and then pasting and overwritting the content with the 6.85 one WITHOUT formatting. Hope it helps and that they add the files needed soon.

If you are using Retro's kernel for long time u just replace the (.dat)'s infolib savlib and...the other one i dont remeber

Hi retro I Download your newest firmware and extracted the right file to my DSi btw I'm using the www.R4i-gold.eu and also I put and extracted R4i-SDHC YSMenu to my SD card, but still no luck in running a single game I always have an error in every game

"Unsupported DLDI Name" hope you could help me

suppose i should've mentioned this, since its not in the working with lists

r4i gold plus works with tt/ysmenu as both dual boot and as a replacement by renaming to r4.dat

but keep in mind you also need an originally named copy of the dat file in order for soft reset to work

I have a problem on R4i SDHC 3DS.

Pokemon White 2 works with the latest version but the game freezes when I try to save. I'm using a clean ROM and done a full format of my SD card using SDformatter 3.1.

Edit:
It also just froze after the professor asked me to enter my name.
