ysmenu works on me on gei...very lucky....

use the latest kernel on gei..
and in folder instead of ttmenu rename it to ysmenu...
it works.. for me..
to the dldi not supported use the ak.dldi and rename to dldi.bin then put in the G:/_system_/resources

Thankyou for letting me know. I knew it was something simple that I had done wrong as to why YSMenu in my update wasn't working for GE/i...LOL! GE/i support will be readded in my next update

Tested games so far...

0005 - WarioWare Touched (U) - FAIL (White screen after boot)
0022 - Super Mario 64 DS (U) - OK
0168 - Mario Kart DS (U) - OK
4171 - Mario & Luigi - Bowser's Inside Story - (U) - FAIL (White screen after boot)
5584 - Pokémon White Version (U) - OK
6042 - Pokémon Black 2 Version (J) - OK (yay! no more c-gear crash!!!)
6073 - Pokémon Conquest (E) - OK (doesn't work on native loader but it loads now with YSMenu!)

I'll test other games later and maybe homebrews as well.

@[member='harryen13'], where did you got the idea of replacing the dldi file of GEi's kernel? I thought that YSMenu only depends on its own folder (TTMenu folder) for dual boot.

its been a year im using ysmenu on gei hahaha just i do an experiment.... i think i broke 2 sd on my experiment hahahahah.... lol (i am just 16 years old)

@kipmudz u can do ysmenu as primary kernel...
rename ysmenu.nds ti _ds_menu.dat and _ds_menu.dat to ysmenu....

i think the GE/i first 2 kernel are lke r4 kernel and on v2.1 they mixed r4-ak kernel and in 3.0 to 4.0 new built structure of kernel.... !!!

i play limited games on my GE/i and i have only 2gb sd.Thats why i cant many play games and i dunno what is working or not....
i advice to you if you old games not running in ysmenu mode try on GE/i kernel

I read somewhere in the internet that GEi is an acekard clone with R4 interface. And I think this flashcart is part acekard because its early kernels such as 2.1 uses an alternate AKAIO / Wood like loader.

I can't play Pokemon Conquest (U). I'm using GEi and updated with the latest kernel.
I use clean rom and AP patched rom but both still freezed. And then i installed RetroGameFan Multi Cart Update 6.82, tried the ysmenu but still got white screen. I downloaded the clean Europe rom, opened with native kernel and ysmenu, still no luck.
So please help me.. or maybe i should buy a better flashcart..

So, if I wanted to update, all I have to do is extract and copy the lates extinfo, infolib and savlib dats over the existing flashcard files, right?
