Mine works perfectly but I already removed it from my activity log since I don't know what the may update will bring(Besides I use the acekard more on my DSi XL) but on my game log it still shows it from last week that I loaded it for 2 seconds..do I still have to worry about that?
I dont recommend you buying a new acekard. What i did was to buy a 4 bucks r4i3ds( yeah that crappy cheap clone) while i wait for a acekard hw44 update . At least the cheap crappy clone WORK in 3ds and i can use wood firmware. Once the May update come, i will transfer my dsi and sell my dsi with my old acekard.Amrulez said:

I don't know what you'd consider piracy. Playing a game before buying. Maybe. I use my Acekard 2i for homebrew just as much as I do for games.
No offence but the majority of people using flashcarts are using them for piracy pure and simple. If you use it for homebrew all power to you, and I do support the homebrew community. But I reiterate the producers of this product are NOT doing so because they want homebrew (except maybe the iEvo and the Supercard2 SDK). It is a piracy enabler and they know that is their main market. Yes you can use a gun as a paperweight but its primary purpose it to propel a metallic projectile using a chemical explosion at high velocity into a target. And yes you can use a flashcart for homebrew, but it's primary purpose is for piracy.
Just to keep everyone updated I emailed acekard asking if they were any closer to an update for the HW44 and this is what they sent me.

I have a noob question. So I got my acekard 2i in the mail, one that I was told would work with the 3DS out of the box (also mentions 3ds on the sticker). Anyway I didn't receive my micro sd card yet which I ordered online but I just have a question so I know the next step. I tried putting it in anyway to see if it would be recognized or something and it showed up as Dorasu. Is that good? Will I have to do anything special once I get the micro sd card?
Thanks! I ended up cancelling my micro sd order and running to the mall across the street to get one, patience sucks. Now to rip as many of my DS games as possible to store them all on one card and I am a happy camper.Burton said:

Picked up one of those R4i-SDHC 3DS to use until Acekard fixes the HW 44 issue. My friend says it works fine for him. Man I love this 3DS, I already bought 2 games. Sometimes my eyes hurt and I lower down the intensity.
