The second options is the most difficult one, and in the first, we only need a program to do this.
If someone knows a way to convert music files in .sad, will be awesome.

I found this. Dunno if it helps you...

The original DS one is more fitting for the DS game's opening.

Facts. The project must have the JP opening with subs, at all costs.

To do that, we need to do 2 things:
- Use the same JP music (very easy to do).
- Work in the subtitle:
Here is the difficult part, because we need to:
a) Translate the japanese opening (the english subtitles are from another song).
b) Put well the pointers (in the file, i think that is possible to change in what part appear the subtitle acording the song).

If you guys want this, you must have the english or romanji lyrics of that song (searching the lyrics in the web or translating the japanese subtitles from that video youtube that someone posted here).

Aren't those the lyrics to the second song? This game uses the song from the first OP called Tachiagari yo. I posted my approximations for the romanji and english based on the subs.

Romanji:
Stand up Stand up Tachiagari yo
Inzauma Challenger
donzoko yowaki wo punching
tonchi wo kikasete sliding
doronko mamire ga isamashiku hikaru ze
donyoku challenge seishin
Don't cry megezu ni fighting
kuyashii kimochi mo power ni kaeyou ze
asekaki besokaki yumesodachi
nekko wa magma Inazuma shiki
kizudarake no zassou samurai
mitame onboro nakami honebuto
stand up stand up tachiagari yo
yuuki no Symbol Inazuma mark
stand up stand up tachiagari yo
kakageyou shouri no flag wo
stand up stand up tachiagari yo
Inazuma Eleven
Inazuma (fight!) Inazuma hero

Translation from fansubs:
Stand up stand up Let's stand up
Inazuma Challenger
Punch away your pessimism
slide with your wit
getting all muddy only adds shine to your courage
with the greedy challenger's spirit
don't cry, fight without giving in
let's turn all that vexation into power
dreams bloom in sweat and tears
we're burning hot like magma, Inazuma style
like a worn out wild samurai
looking shabby outside but tough on the inside
stand up stand up let's stand up
the symbol of courage is the Inazuma mark
stand up stand up let's stand up
wave the flag of victory
stand up stand up let's stand up
Inazuma Eleven
Inazuma (fight!) Inazuma hero

This can work. The problem now is the subtitles.
Here is the subtitle file from the ENG opening: ENG Subtitle

What we need to do:
- Check the pointers (maybe before each phrase).
- Change that lyrics with the lyrics of the original song (can be in english or romanji).

This isn't the main problem, the main problem is know where are the pointers exactly and how to manipule.

TyRaNtM, you're overlooking one important detail. It's not just the song that it's different. The vid itself is different. And the japanese one has the subs hardsubbed, meaning, even if you edit the file from the eng version you would see subtitles over subtitles.

My suggestion would be, if possible, use the jap OP and then put the english subtitles in the top black part. It's the only way it would work out.

Yes, that true, but also we need to know a way to edit the video (is a .mods).

Splash in the house? o>
Anyway ah, I was looking for someone who was actually doing this project.
I can help out with name translating needs, although obviously some people got a head start through my site... XD; http://splash.pmsinfirm.org/lyrics/?p=60
Yes, Riiyo's the one used for the first DS game.

Do you guys want name switches of every single player in the game, including the random recruitables?

Also, lol at the dub turning Miyasaka into a girl.

I for one actually dont care if we have subtitles in the opening movie. In fact who cares, its just the OP movie. As long as we have an undub and original names that would be amazing.

However, which ROMs would this undub support? There are 5 versions on the net that I know of right now (UK, SP, IT, GR, FR) that this patch could fall under. And if Im not mistaken there is also a Scandinavian and Finnish version that no one has uploaded yet either.

Wow, Splash! Give me an autograph, I'm a fan! XD
PS: Thanks for the hard work in the anime!

Anyway, all the names are already translated, head over to the spreadsheet (check link in the first post) to see our progress.

@Jugiatsu We're aiming to the ENG release. That's why this has been progressing slowly, the ENG release was only released today. It should go faster now.

Autograph.. XD;;;
Ah okay, that's cool then o> I was just reading some of the later pages of the topic and was confused since the link to the spreadsheet requires access, the txt shows up as a 404 and such ._.;

Do the cutscenes need any translating or was the dub enough to provide subs for it? I'm not playing the other language games so.. XD

*edit* Ah, n/m I got access to the spreadsheet. XD Hope you don't mind me checking over the move names then~
