There is no difference in the ios70 for Korean wii, or other wii. Darkcorp does not uses ios70, instead it patches ios60 to install in the ios70 slot. This is done to prevent the 003 error found on region changed Korean wii's. Perhaps there are other reasons, but I don't know what they are.

There's no point in using IOS70, as IOS70 is pretty much nothing more than an updated IOS60, which is a few KB larger than IOS60 v6174, with the STM bug fix, and ES Ioctlv 0x45 which is what the sysmenu 4.2 calls in order to check if the Wii has the Korean key in it.

If we used IOS70 v6687, we would not be able add Korean Key support into it, because if we did add the korean key into it, it would ALWAYS make sysmenu 4.2 return error 003.

Yes, as long as you have already uninstalled at least once before installing to cIOSCORP v3.5/v3.6

If you haven't uninstalled even once, I suggest you do that first.

So your shape with the camera was made to work in previous unreleased version? It is now supposed to work in 4 - has anyone tried this game with a cam to test?

Thanks.

Sorry for being a noob. But does darkcorp even install IOS70 at all? If it doesn't, does it mean I can only install SM4.1?

Yes, IOS58 was added into v3.7, but the only people who have v3.7 are myself, the DARK Admins, and TeamWiiGen (it was going to be put in sciifii, but it never saw release, so...)

DARKCORP v1.0 will install a copy of IOS60 into IOS70's slot, so that 4.2 will work. Both my Wii's have System Menu 4.2 installed right now, with DARKCORP installed too.

He's been real busy with real-life stuff recently, so he doesn't have time to do anything else ATM.

His job was to release / distribute cIOSCORP v3.x and make people think that I'm a mere myth.

But since he didn't have any time to do this, we made a deal to transfer this account to me at 500 posts, and I would take over the release job, so he could finish what he's busy with.

Ran into a slight problem using the virgin install method.

the installer downloads everything fine.

When it gets to "Installing the Fake IOS" it gets to 20% and says (In yellow letters.)
"Exception -1035
Error starting title installation"

Any idea what the problem here could be? Does the installer log this problem and can I send it to you?
Is the IRC channel for this still up?

No, he hasn't left. He tries to help me whenever he can.

Hmmm... do you already have a version of cIOSCORP v3.x installed?
If so, just use the (Uses IOSxx) Install/Upgrade to DARKCORP v1.0 (regular mode) option, selecting the IOS you want the installer to use.
And yes, the IRC channel #darkcorp is still active, but it's incredibly empty right now...
I can't be online all the time though...
...but feel free to join and talk to me when I am online.

Anyone got rugby league 3 so they can find a fix for the antipiracy trash on it?
If IOS53 is not the native one the game doesn't run. So DarkCorp won't run with it.
Hey, not so fast...

I have a potential fix for the game, but it's not tested. If you have this game, please pm me!
One of my testers told me they have this game, and I'm about to pm them the fix after this post.

Same problem and if I choose Install/Upgrade to DARKCORP v1.0 (regular mode) I have:
"Exception -1029
Error! Es_Identify"

Note: I have installed Waninkoko rev19, and I also had cIOSCORP v3.x installed before.

Well, you don't have to mess with IOS249 at all.

You can reinstall rev19 if you want, but if you have hermes' cIOS222 installed, you can use cIOS222 for the installer instead.

just select
(Uses cIOS222) Install/Upgrade to DARKCORP v1.0 (regular mode)

and you should be fine.

if you don't have hermes' cIOS222 installed, I suggest you install it, using base 38.
@Jabe
Hmmm... this guy whose post I quoted seems to know what he's doing.
Just do what this guy posted, and you should be fine.

...and I suggest that you should do a little bit more reading. Reading is good for you.
